I guess it's decent the rare times they're open. I have driven here several times and they're closed, despite saying open online. and I was told the store isn't open this year, they're only doing orders for events. so my opinion is don't waste ur gas. you're better off buying a snowball machine and syrup off Amazon.

I called Kona Ice and asked if they had a walk up location. I’m from Maryland and LOVE snowballs. i
I was told that they had a walk up location last year, but due to staffing not available at this point for this year. I was asked my address and they would send the truck around when they are in McSherrystown. Well tonight was the night! I am a happy camper! Thank You Kona Ice for making my night.

Actual staff in the truck were pleasant. Owner will physically get out of his truck, and basically call you a liar, or make any excuse to justify anything you say is wrong. More concerned about his appearance online than providing decent service. Wouldn’t reccommend.

They don’t do a slow roll through a neighborhood and they get pretty defensive when they get less than a stellar review. They left my grandson in tears because they booked down the street without ever looking to see if there was anyone there. Big pass!
