Stopped here for lunch when passing through one day a couple years ago. Memorable. Have been trying to get back ever since. Don't believe the naysayers.

Outstanding quality and service. I wouldn't visit any other establishment for local authentic Italian cuisine!

The veal parmigiana is amazing (the veal is “fork tender”)! Prepare to be treated as “family” — we love this place!

I first ate here nearly two years ago and even though I live roughly 6 hours away its still the best Italian food I've ever had and I try to make it up there a couple of times a year.

If I could, I would give it 6 stars!!! The cook is a wonderful lady from the very South of Italy. The food she serves is the closest to Italian food you can eat without a plane ticket. Ciao!!!

Great food. Genuine Italian family ran restaurant. Mama the owner is amazing, and checks in on you to make sure you are enjoying the food. Her recipes are second to none. Definatley stop in and try this amazing Italian food. Places like this are dying off and being replaced by commercial resturaunts. Get the real thing here.

The food is freshly made and out of this world. It is made by authentic Italians straight from Italy. The cannelonni melts in your mouth, as does the gnocchi.

The food is very very tasty. The staff takes good care of you and aim to please. Back to the food.... it is is incredible. My favorite Italian restaurant PA, MD, VA, NY, or CA. only places I have sought out Italian and I keep using La Fonte as the plumb line.

The food and service is FABULOUS! we have eaten here twice so far and will definitely keep going back, even though it's about 25 min away. Mama is not only sweet and caring, but dang...she sure can cook! We have tried gnocchi, fettuccini alfredo, seafood alfredo, italian wedding soup, lobster ravioli, and pumpkin ravioli...it has all been amazing! We are an Italian family and make lots of our own italian food from scratch at home, but have never found any restaurant that comes close to the real deal...until now! She definitely knows what she is doing in that kitchen of hers! Oh, and tonight she shared some almond cookies she made with us that were divine!

This is a realistic review - there is no way this rates a 4.7. The service is OK. Restaurant is one of those bar / restaurants that is common in old downtowns like Philly - but this one is a bit weird and not necessarily executed well. Food is mediocre at best. Red sauce finished with a bitterness. Beware of prices on the specials - prices not posted or explained - lobster ravioli at $33 is a bit steep considering the quality, location, type of restaurant and portion (5 ravioli).

This is a hidden treasure. We have passed it for years thinking it was a pizza shop. We stopped in today and they treated us like family. The owner is a sweetheart giving my kids kisses and hugs before leaving. My picky “chopped” judge of a 5 year old, gave it 16 stars. He loves the pasta. Wish there was more places like this around, made me feel like I was in little Italy downtown. This will be a staple for us! They had beautiful music playing on the tv, an Italian concert.

Get the veal....I had it over spaghetti. As rumored, it was beyond delicious and tender enough to be cut with a fork! Not a drop of sauce left on my plate either....and I was blown away by Mama coming out to me to thank me in person for stopping by. I just wish that I could've had a slice of the lemon cake.

Very good Italian dinners, They are made fresh there in the ITALIAN LADYS KITCHEN. Everyon that we took there really seemed to like it. One couple went with us had oedered extra dinners to take home.
