My wife a I have been eating at Romano's for 20 years and we haven't found a comparable Italian restaurant without going to 9th St. in Philly or Mulberry in NY. Anything on the menu will satisfy. My only 4 star was for service only because you'll wait quite a while for your meal. That, however isn't really fair as everything is prepared fresh and without shortcuts. Covid killed a lot of establishments but not this one. So take a bottle of red and enjoy!

Just ordered a sausage sandwich with peppers and onions I have ordered this before but never took the time to write a review the sausage sandwich was the best tasting sandwich as always he makes it on fresh made bread fills the sandwich to overflowing it’s so nice that when most restaurants try to give you the least amount for the highest price he always makes sure his customers have the best tasting food with no skimping thank you this customer appreciates your cooking!

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and nobody was there. To start off when you walk in it was probably a good 80 degrees in there. Got there around 7:30pm, ordered our food right away. Took over an hour to get our appetizer/salad and bread, then another hour for our main dishes. Once we finally got our food it was okay, my penne alla vodka tasted like they got a jar of sauce from the store and just poured it in, my boyfriends sandwich bread was hard and the ham tasted unpleasant. After 3 hours at this restaurant I realized why nobody was there. Will not be returning here.

We stopped by on a whim on a Saturday evening to compare them to our current favorite pizza shop in the area. We've driven by several times and seen it lively and the bar area full. It was absolutely dead in there. Lights were totally off in the front and back bar and eating area. We thought they were closed until we saw light and movement in the take out area. It was freezing inside, the drink coolers were empty and dirty and the decor was outdated and dusty. The menu was pretty standard pizza shop fare. However everything we ordered was excellent. We got a Sicilian pizza, a calzone, and a sandwich. The portions were large, toppings were fresh, and the cheese was stretchy and delicious like you see on a cartoon. The man (probably Romano since he's featured in all the photographs on the wall) and the woman were both very friendly and welcoming. I don't think I'd want to dine in there, but we'll definitely be repeat take out customers.

Very good food and relaxed atmosphere. If you're in a hurry to eat, go elsewhere.Everything is made fresh as u wait with only the owner cooking. You can't ask for a better meal!!! I think better the Dimaggios and LA Costa Dosa personally....

Parking: Park along the side of the building and full parking lot across the street

3/2024 We thought we would stop to pick up some to go food. We got a cheeseburger and a cheeseburger sub. The bread was freshly made and delicious. In fact the guy originally burned my bread but made fresh for us. Huge portions and very delicious. There's an enormous collection of model cars behind the bar. Pretty neat. Looking forward to going back sometime to have a proper dinner. The front porch and outside is a little rough with the inside is nice
