Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Had the breaded shrimp,very crunchy and delicious. Still mostly woke but saw a couple crackers and barrels.

I’ll start off by saying that we have been to dozens of Cracker Barrels all over the country. We travel full time and Cracker Barrel is a restaurant we frequent since it’s usually reliable, and we know what type of food and service we’ll receive. Unfortunately, tonight’s dinner was the worst we’ve ever experienced at a Cracker Barrel. We ordered the fried pickles appetizer, which while good, the portion size seems to be shrinking. That would have been fine if the rest of our dinner was good. But unfortunately, that was not the case. After about a 30 minute wait, our entrees finally came out. My husband ordered the chicken tenders with fries. They tasted fine, but were much smaller than they used to be. My son and I both ordered burgers, and they looked and tasted like the patties had been overcooked and then sat under a heat lamp all day. They were hard and SO dry. We let our server know, and she said she would have them remade. About 20 minutes later, we still didn’t have the replacement burgers, so we asked to speak to a manager to just get our check and go, since my husband and other son had already finished their meals. The manager came over to our table, and my husband explained the situation. As he was still talking, she just walked away without even saying anything! Finally our server came back with our check, and she had taken off the burgers. We still left paying over $40 for 2 dinners and a small appetizer. It’s just insane to me that the prices have increased so much, along with the significant decrease in quality. And they keep changing the menu and removing things we used to enjoy. A couple of the tables next to us seemed to have problems with their meals as well.

Great staff, great service great food. Somehow I had never been to this chain restaurant before and I was missing out. Country fried steak, corn and cinnamon apples was an incredible meal. The biscuits are fantastic and the cinnamon roll skillet is hands down my favorite dessert from a restaurant so far.

I don't know if everu location is this good but I can recommend this one

I ordered the peach cobbler and was never so surprised...can't still believe Cracker barrel would ever serve anything even resembling this! It was awful!!! A small square piece of white cake of some sore with a few canned peaches on it...a dab of whipped cream on top with a vanilla wafer sticking in the whipped cream! I never saw anything so pitiful. I was expecting a dish with some real peach cobbler....Is this the way you sell cobblers now? If so, I won't be coming there for dinner/dessert anymore.

The food was 💩 I had a Donald Trump 2028 hat on whenever they noticed my hat the service got more horrible We shouldn't let politics involve the way to serve people

The floor was dirty the bathroom was dirty Even the staff attitudes was dirty ignorant rude naive

I would not eat at that place again

I couldn't help but feel the difference in attitudes since the resent changes taking place in the chain. If this is the direction that the company is heading and the unhappiness of the staff and patrons. I will not be back. I have been a weekly patron since they opened in New Stanton. It is sad to see the direction the new CEO is taking. She is blind if she can't see the change!
