If you're going to go, just know it's a small, intimate, quiet place. I went with a larger group that wanted to "catch up" and we felt awkward even talking. Like everyone could hear everything we said. Just know that.
We had a lovely dinner at La Tavola on Saturday evening. One person in our party ordered the filet. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Best yet was the chop sauce - out of this world! The accompanying roasted potatoes cooked perfectly, and every bite a delicious treat. Our Mom ordered the egg plant parmigiana and raved about how delicious it was. We've visited this restaurant several times. A true authentic Italian gem! The food is delicious, the service is top notch and the atmosphere is elegant and perfect for a date or special occasion.
