Course was in decent shape. Not a lot of sand in the bunkers but playable and fun nonetheless. However, be aware of bringing riders to this course. You WILL ALL be charged as players and there is nothing on the website that warns you of this. If you don't ask the question, they won't tell you. The two men in the pro shop looked at me like I was the fool for thinking my riders would be charged...as riders! Newsflash: THIS IS NOT COMMON. ANYWHERE!

I have played golf courses all over PA, NJ and even NY and I have been informed IMMEDIATELY if riders were either being charged as players or not allowed at the course at all. Neither happened at Olde Homestead and I felt scammed. You got one extra star for your 30th anniversary. Please improve communication to your customers for the next 30.

Course conditions were nice but to pay close to $100 they were 25 mins late on a tee time start 9am which is unacceptable. Makes no sense to be backed up so early. Management needs to do better.

Course is nice however why are the tee times 7 minutes apart? Not to mention the starting times are always delayed 20 minutes first thing in the morning. For paying close to 100 dollars to be 20-30 minutes delayed and waiting every hole is unacceptable.

Very cool course with a lot of unique holes. However, the tee boxes were in poor condition, the sand traps had rocks in them, and the starter was the rudest I’ve ever encountered at a course.

We ate dinner in the cafe and had a wonderful meal. Our appetizer was the chips with gorgonzola cheese, tomatoes, arugula and balsamic glaze. Wow! I had the chicken, artichoke, pesto, penne and my husband had the forbidden rice, shrimp and bok choy dish. Both were absolutely amazing. Compliments to the chef. Our waitress was great! We live 45 minutes away but that won't stop us from returning for another fabulous meal.

Had the privilege of having my wedding here and the Olde Homestead did not disappoint!!!
From the first visit, to the last details of the wedding day everything was smooth, easy, and very well organized. Once my now wife and I arrived to check it out we knew it was the place to start the rest of our lives together. The view and landscape is gorgeous! Plus the options for wedding venues are perfect! We chose the Carriage House for the privacy and view for the ceremony and it was exactly what we wanted. The entire staff was so kind and helpful and it made the wedding day go off without a hitch. My wife and I are so grateful we found the Olde Homestead and I highly recommend them for any event! Big side note, the food is absolutely delicious. Every last piece was top notch and I know the guests loved it…I sure did!
Thank you for providing a beautiful spot to get married!!

I called to try to book a tee time and Tim answered the phone. He was extremely short with me and was not very helpful. He told me that I had to book a tee time online. When I tried booking the tee time online it would not let me book a time because I was a single. Olde Homestead probably doesn't care but they lost my business today. I'm trying to give them business but I guess they don't want or need it. Very disappointed.

The views from the back nine are spectacular! Prettiest course in the valley.
Staff is very courteous, course is usually in great shape. A few challenging holes but that's the way golf is supposed to be!

Incredible partner and experience! Olde Homestead has helped me host a charity golf tournament I started in memory of my dad for years, which has grown to raise over $50,000 per year for local non profits and includes over 120 golfers. The staff is wonderful to work with, and it has been a true partnership. The experience for our guests - from golf to the dinner event - is so positive and is part of what has helped us grow over the years. We look forward to many more years to come!!

I feel it is imperative that I share my daughter’s experience with Olde Homestead through the eyes of the mother of the bride. The planning process for her and her now husband was nothing short of a nightmare from the beginning. Fraudulent contracts, lacking communication, and high turnover of staff. I lost count of the number of times my daughter called me in tears during the planning process related to all of the trouble Olde Homestead caused.

She had simple requests including assistance with set up and take down, which she was willing to hire a day of coordinator to assist with. 8 months into the planning process and only 6 months out from the wedding, they forced her to sign a contract that stated no outside day of coordinators could be brought in to assist, however they also would provide NO help for set up and take down. That was all the responsibility of the bride and groom and their family/friends.

My daughter requested that a package be added on for alcohol for the groomsmen on the day of while waiting during the first look, and was told the groom would have to open a tab on HIS WEDDING DAY. Justin, the manager, was made aware of all of the concerns the two of them had weeks before the wedding and he offered absolutely no solutions for them.

On the night of their rehearsal, the “coordinator” couldn’t even muster up a smile. She was miserable and unfriendly toward my family and the entire bridal party.

On the day of the wedding, we requested a chair for my elderly father no less than 4 times from staff while we waited, and none of them followed through with the request.

This was supposed to be the happiest time of my daughter’s life, planning the wedding of her dreams. Unfortunately that was all ruined due to the poor management of this “wedding venue”. Don’t get me wrong, the day of the wedding was beautiful, but that was all thanks to my daughter and son in law’s planning, as well as our family and friends. Do yourself a favor and run far away from this venue and don’t look back!!!!
