This was our first time to the Tavern and we really enjoyed everything about it. The food was delicious. The service was great. And the atmosphere was lovely. We'll definitely be back.

This place was warm and inviting. I sat at the bar and had dinner. The food was very good. I had salmon that was claimed to be from Maine. It was very fresh. I believe that it was farmed, but probably organically as it had no bright color. It tasted like the ocean. The vegetables were shaved Brussels sprouts with bacon; very hearty. Potatoes were crispy with a tender center. They also had a nice selection of cocktails, wine and beers, even a couple craft non-alcoholic ones. The bartenders had some skills and were crafting some of their own creations.
I would definitely recommend this place.

We were very surprised to find such an incredible restaurant in this little town…then we found out about Westminster college! We had dinner there and tried to visit again the next day for lunch but the place was packed! Reservations are highly recommended.
An absolute delight of a spot. It has recently been remodeled and is just top notch. We were in a large room with a large…and loud…party which would be my only negative. We all left with our heads swimming a bit from the noise.
The food however is very good. The daily soup was delicious and the scotch egg is as advertised. It’s not cheap but portions and the locally sourced food is well worth it.
Treat yourself and enjoy…
Dietary restrictions: Wish there were more gluten free desert options.

Quaint restaurant in the heart of NW near Westminster U. Vegan options were limited but the Thai Curry Bowl was fantastic! Highly recommended

Fantastic food and cocktails. Wonderfully quaint mercantile store. The waiter and manager personally got to know us and made us feel as if we were the only patrons in an otherwise very packed house. Filet Mignonette and Amish rolls were perhaps the best I’ve ever had.

My reservation was confirmed by Claudia and when we arrived they didn’t have us in for a reservation. They proceeded to put us outside at 6 pm when the weather was getting colder. Took awhile before anyone came over. Ordered a bottle of wine. After 15 minutes they brought us 1 glass. Then told us they had to get it from the basement. In the meantime the waitress never even took our order. That was after sitting outside for 25 minutes. Wanted to make it a special night for my wife’s birthday. It was the worst dining experience I’ve ever experienced. The hostess Claudia just said it was a mishap!! Never been so badly treated
Second time here in the newly renovated Tavern. It's an amazing building. The food is delicious and the staff is great, very friendly.
We sat upstairs. The tables are a bit tiny so next time we will try to sit in the bar area. Can't wait to try the Brunch!

Went for a birthday dinner and everything was phenomenal! Everyone was beyond friendly from the bar staff to hostess and everyone in between. The rolls were to die for and the crispy salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had.
Such a beautiful atmosphere and I’ll definitely be dining here again. The food and service are worth the price.

The food was not impressive. With all the hype around the tavern reopening and how it was suppose to be some cool and original coming to town I am unimpressed. Menu is very underwhelming. We tried to order the Ruben and they were out of that and then they were out of the peach cobbler as a desert too yet both were listed on the menus throughout the establishment. Glad I tried it but it falls incredibly short compared to the original tavern. I will not return.

Food choices were varied and well prepared; service was attentive. The venue is lovely and well appointed, but I found it noisy with music a bit too loud and the space echoing with voices that carry.
