Even with earplugs in, it was nearly unbearable, especially in combination with the glaring lighting. The food was okay. The service was odd, and they couldn’t give us water glasses for a while because they said they had run out of glasses. Unfortunately will not be going back.

** BEWARE - Server Changes Tip Amount & Stole $30 and Management Backed The Server. ** The frumpy, miserable, middle-aged host who was also our server was Nella. Dined here a few days ago and checked my bank transactions today to find out Nella added an extra $30 to her tip. Upon finding out, I called the restaurant to speak with a manager, but unfortunately, Nella, being the host, answers the incoming calls to the restaurant. Within a few hour span, I had to make 5 phone calls to Carmines Eatery in order to speak with a "manager". Immediately, the "manager" is extremely defensive asking if I have proof. He wouldn't even give me his name. I explained the situation multiple times to this person, something so simple, yet this person could not comprehend. I provided him with a picture of the signed receipt and my bank statement, and he ended the call stating that he would investigate and get back to me by 10 am the following day. I call the next day, still Nella. The manager apparently isn't working all day. What kind of a joke is this? Nonetheless, by the afternoon the "manager" did call me to let me know that Nella "made a mistake". That's it. No apology. No accountability. Nothing. For what it's worth... there's 0 chance Nella "made a mistake". Shame on Nella and this restaurant to allow such behavior.

We had an amazing family dinner at Carmine's Eatery and were blown away by the entire experience! The cocktails were perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious, and the food was outstanding from start to finish. We enjoyed incredible wood-fired pizza, fresh pasta, and desserts that were truly scrumptious.
The atmosphere is luxurious yet welcoming, with beautiful decor that makes you feel like you've been transported to the Mediterranean. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything came out at the perfect pace.
This is definitely a place we'll be coming back to whenever we're in the area. Honestly, if we lived in Newtown Square, we'd be doing takeout from here all the time! Carmine's has earned a permanent spot on our must-visit list.
Highly recommend for family dinners, date nights, or any special occasion!

Carmine's completely lived up to the hype! The energy is fantastic—lively and fun. We had the creamy mushroom and a classic Meatball appetizer, and both were flawless. The pasta is fresh, the sauces are rich and flavorful, and the portions are so generous you'll definitely have leftovers (which is a good thing!). Our server Anthony was fast and friendly. Be prepared for a wait, but it's a small price to pay for one of the best Americans/Mediterranean meal in the city. My girlfriend, her husband, and I can't wait to come back!

If I could leave a 10/5 star review, I would! My friends (6 of us included) and I visited this place, and I was over-impressed. I do not know if I would call this woman a waiter, because she was over-qualified. But, she did take our order, and without even writing it down, she recited everything (With out restrictions) perfectly! We were all shocked. Food came out very quickly! The food was amazing! I had a smash burger with mixed greens and it was delicious! My friends meals included: sausage pizza, fries, chicken Caesar hoagie, meatball sub, and more--I tried some of my friends food and it was delicious!! I would love to come back! One of my friends did have a complaint about his food, but the chef/team handled it with great class, customer service, and great attitude! They quickly fixed his order, and again with great customer service. Aesthetics and atmosphere was nice, food was 10/10! Service was 10/10! And wait time was very quick! BIG Compliments to the chef and staff/team
