I recently visited the CAVA location at Ellis Preserve, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. My friends and I had ordered online ahead of time, selecting 6:00 PM as the promised pick-up time for each of our meals. We arrived right at 6:00, only to find ourselves waiting for over ten minutes with no mobile orders coming out. A cluster of frustrated customers began forming, all experiencing similar delays.

Thankfully, a corporate representative from CAVA, who happened to be on-site for an inspection, overheard our concerns. She approached us, apologized for the inconvenience, and offered us each a voucher card to compensate for the wait. She also went up to the workers to escalate the issue, which finally prompted them to offer free fountain drinks as a gesture of goodwill (though they were out of lids). Additionally, the corporate representative kindly provided the Wi-Fi login to help us pass the time while we waited.

Despite these efforts, it took another 20 minutes for our orders to be ready. When they finally arrived, the food was a complete letdown. My friend’s bowl had only a few pieces of steak—much less than she typically receives at other CAVA locations. My pita was entirely wrong and poorly made. I had ordered a pita with two types of hummus, falafel, feta cheese, Israeli salad, and lemon herb tahini. Instead, I received one filled with green harissa sauce, yogurt dill, pickles, and onions. The only correct ingredient was the falafel. The preparation was also incredibly sloppy, with sauce dripping everywhere, even outside the pita. The bread was poorly folded and fell apart as soon as I unwrapped it.

By this point, we were running late and didn’t have time to raise additional complaints. What was supposed to be a convenient meal turned into a frustrating ordeal.

The only redeeming aspect of this experience was the corporate representative’s intervention and professionalism. Her efforts were appreciated, but the lack of organization and quality from the workers at this location was unacceptable. For such a nice facility in an upscale area, the service and food were shockingly subpar. I will not be returning to this location.

Food was phenomenal, and service was even better. I was serviced by a sweet girl named Ajanae. She was very patient, and attentive. She explained everything to a T and offered samples to ensure i’d enjoy my meal.

I have been here many times, the food is always consistently good, the place is always clean and I have always been welcomed with good customer service. The main reason I am writing a review though is because of how great the general manager Leaf is there, recently after leaving Cava my girlfriend and I stopped at the Chipotle attached to it just to use their bathroom and by accident she left her phone in the bathroom of the Chipotle, we tried calling Chipotle 5+ times and no one answered, so she called Cava and Leaf picked up the phone immediately, she explained her situation and asked if someone could go to the Chipotle to check if her phone was in the bathroom and if they could grab it for her because we were 20+ minutes away, Leaf was very understanding and with no hesitation went to the Chipotle and secured her phone for her, when I went back to Cava to meet up with Leaf he was nice and more than happy to help. Overall, great Cava location and I've always had great food there.

Such a nice experience happened to me the other day. I had ordered a bowl and some pita chips for pick-up. When i got there they were a little busy so my food was quite ready yet (totally fine). Who i assume is the general manager, acknowledged I was there and apologized for the delay. All of the workers were hustling to get orders done. I waited maybe 5 mins if that. When the girl handed me my bowl I forgot I had ordered pita chips, so I went out to my car with just the bowl. I then hear a knock on my window and Allison, one of the workers, ran out in the rain to catch me before I left to make sure I got the chips!! She was even nice enough to get me a fresh batch!
Very small but impactful gesture that didn't go unnoticed!
