Food and ambience were excellent. A little more proper techniques of serving wine would be good. Our server was excellent otherwise.

The food was good. The service was ok but I think they would've done better if they were left to their own work. Much of the staff seemed to be distracted having to be led by a small child roaming the space. Due to her being allowed to roam around freely and dump out her cup nearly on guests my guess is she is the child of someone in management / ownership of the restaurant. The person at the front who seemed to be in charge of seating was nice but definitely not professional. There is a great deal of potential for this space but as it is run currently I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

It was our first time at LaScala's Fire with friends. The food, service, and overall experience was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Went there for an office Christmas party and the food was fantastic. Large portions that tasted great. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely go there again.

I've been here a few times and really enjoy it. The food was very good, excellent meatballs. Service not so great, maybe they were new. We were here with 2 other couples celebrating our marriage and the other couples loved the food as much as we did.

The appetizer was good but needed more sauce. The sandwich hard very little taste. The service was very good.

Our dining experience was very good. However, at first I was very excited and impressed by the Gluten Free menu options. I was very disappointed to learn that all of these options were subject to cross contamination and in fact were not gluten free for those like myself with Celiac Disease or Gluten Allergies. Once I reviewed the remainder of the menu there were very few options remaining that were safe to eat. I settled for a salad and a bowl of muscles. So therefore, this restaurant is not a very good option for those with severe gluten allergies or Celiac Disease.

Good food matched with excellent service. We came during children's hour, so ended up hearing one repeat counting 1-6 in Spanish about 15 times before family left.

The food and service were amazing!! Consistently great. I hope they keep the outdoor area open as long as possible. It is wonderful sitting outside especially as flu/Covid season approach (especially since a member of our party is immunocompromised).

Love LaScalas Fire. I eat frequently at the CC Old City Location and the new one on Byberry and the Blvd. in NE Philly. Lisa Ace Limousine & Airport Service

Our food was delicious! The burrata board was outstanding!! White cosmo made perfectly!! Great waitress! Will be sure to come back!

Really noisy and loud. Restaurant was super crowded, so we assumed that everything was going to be phenomenal. The ferries calamari was fine. Probably the best thing we had. The mussels appetizer tasted bad. Like the actual mussels were awful. They brought another out with the same type and they were also bad. My Fra Diavolo was tasteless and the veal was flavorless. The biggest disappointment was that two in my party ordered the wine sauce and it was very creamy. Not like garlic and olive oil. The whole table was disappointed. Will not return.

The seating is nice and relatively private with the high back booths. Tv's with sports playing but noise level not bad. My meal wasn't bad but I've had better. Fettuccini with shrimp/some crab in wine sauce but you were hard pressed to recognize it was wine sauce. Not much taste.

Our second time to LaScala. The first time was not a good experience and we shared that with our server when we were first greeted. No pressure LOL. Abby was a wonderful server and did everything she could to make up for our first time there. Food was just average but the service made up for it. We will be back and hope to see Abby again!

Absolutely worst chicken piccata I have ever eaten...actually so bad I didn't eat it. My husband said his pasta tasted like Chef Boyardee. Our waiter was delightful. Too bad the food was dreadful and the room was way too loud.
