Everything rates a "5", except for the "free flowing" kitchen. The food and service are great, but depending on what you order, there's a very good chance you and your dining companions will be eating at different times - no big deal when I'm just with with my spouse, but I'd never take guests there.

People need to stop being so cranky about their experience. The restaurant just opened. If you go searching for a problem you’ll find a problem. Food is great and reasonably priced, always been a fan and long time customer at Villanova.

If you want to dine with friends or family and you want to eat together, look elsewhere. This was my first visit to any Lascala’s Fire and it will be my last. Upon seating the first thing our server explained to us was that they operate a “Rolling Kitchen” which is code for…We have no idea which order will come out from the kitchen and when. Well, at that moment, we should have just rolled out the door. In fairness, our appetizers arrived relatively quickly and nearly at the same time, it was with the entree’s where the “Rolling Kitchen” came into play. From the time the first entree arrived until the last was more than 30 minutes. We waited very patiently and politely but right around the 30 minute mark we asked to speak to the manager. I don’t know where they found this guy, but he acted more like a mafia enforcer than a restaurant manager. He came over with a scowl on his face and offered only excuses and no apologies. An argument ensued and it wasn’t until things became a bit heated that we finally received an apology. Needless to say we couldn’t wait to get out of there. I’ve had bad experiences in restaurants before, but this is the first time I’ve ever written a review, so take that for what it’s worth.

I was a bystander to a strange interaction between the staff and another table this evening. The table near us seemed to have something wrong with their order. The manager came over and was taking threatening stances and grabbing the customer by the arm saying “come talk to me in the corner”. Quite a strange interaction — not something I would expect a trained manager to do to disarm a situation that happens so commonly at every restaurant. We promptly finished our food and left. Our food was great, but seeing how the manager was incapable of handling a seemingly meaningless interaction does not make me excited to come back to the Newtown Square location.

Excellent place! Host team accommodated us right away. We were sat shortly after. My friend and I enjoyed the ambiance and the intricate. dining experience. Our server provided us with great service! Such an awesome server she was! We were super hungry. For appetizers we had Calamari Friti and the Arancini! Delish! For the entrees, I had the Rigatoni Vodka and she had the veal Dan Remo! Each of us had 2 glasses of the Pinot Noir. LovelyThe culinary team did a fantastic job. We love new places. This was well worth the wait. We will return shortly!

Went to the location in Drescher. I really wanted to like this place since it is so close to home, but I can see now why it is never busy. Service was slow even though the place was less than half full. Took 20 minutes to get a beer. The food was not very good. We got the Stuffed Long Hots and they were undercooked ... the cheese inside was like a cold store bought cheese stick and the Proscutto was cold and chewy. What they also neglected to tell us is that they bring everything out when they feel like it .. Pizza took 30 minutes and the Veal Parm took 20 mins ???? Don't know what they did to the linguine but it was like eating rubber bands covered in ketchup. That brings us to the sauce, better off going to the grocery store and getting some RAO's because their's was not good at all. I left most of my food on the plate and went across the street to the Copper Crow to get some decent food. All in all it was not good and I would not recommend this place to anybody.
