Turning Point Newtown Square

Just had a fantastic breakfast at the new Boynton Beach location. Loved focus of hospitality. Our team member was knowledgeable and so nice! Food was tasty. Decor was wonderful. Look forward to many more meals! Kudos!

Went to the Turning Point Holmdel today for breakfast. Waited half an hour for overcooked, cold food to come out. Pointed it out when asked how it was and it was never fixed. When asked to speak with a leader on duty the staff became obnoxious with zero hospitality or care given.

As a frequent customer of Turning Point, in particular the Westfield location, I am sad to say that today was my last time. Looking to catch up with a friend for brunch. First of all I looked to join the waiting list, where it said for a party of 2 there was no waiting time. As we get there to be seated, we were told it was at least a 20min wait, with at least 5 tables for 2 empty. Reasoning was the kitchen was backed up due to a large party, however the option of being seated to at least start enjoying coffee was not offered. After waiting almost 25mins we approached the hostess to ask how long it would be for our table, then we were seated in the exact tables that had been empty the whole time. We were served our drinks after about 20mins and food after an additional 10mins. We were not even halfway through our meal when the check was already placed on our table. We were told “no rush, whenever you’re ready”. We were approached at least two more times to see if we were done, my friend not having eaten her meal yet. From the time we were served our meal to the time Manager James came to our table, one hour and 15mins had passed. We were asked if we enjoyed our meal, however we were also asked to leave, due to the need for our table and a waiting list. As we walked out of the establishment, the bar was empty and the back room had at least 6 open tables. Food is excellent, no question, but this type of customer service was very distasteful. This doesn’t even happen at a fast food restaurant! Extremely disappointed…just to add, my friend and I still ate at this establishment when they had a plumbing issue and we were served in plastic containers outside on the sidewalk.

Great for breakfast. Coffee is solid.
