We absolutely loved stopping at Theo’s for breakfast. It’s exactly what a local diner should be—warm, welcoming, and great food. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel like a regular the moment we walked through the door.
The homemade creamed chipped beef was the real standout. It’s savory, hearty, and clearly made from scratch—easily some of the best I’ve had in the area. The portions were generous and the service was quick. If you’re looking for a great meal and a friendly atmosphere in Newville, this is the place to go!

Great little local diner, in a very small town. We travel to Newville from the midwest, we were very happy to see that there was a diner open in the wee small hours of the morning when we arrived.
All of the diner classics are here, from omelettes to skillets to steak and eggs. Solid stuff, and we enjoyed everything we had. Coffee was good too.
Service was great, and everything came out promptly. Bathrooms were a bit dirty, but certainly useable.
We'll be back!

Nice place where people know each other and even the employees know the customers and have small talk with them. So much nicer than Carlisle restaurants where everyone's a stranger and a kind of big city indifference between customers. Theo's the customers even know each other. I don't want to go back to Carlisle when I am eating their great food, enjoying the small town atmosphere in Newville. ALSO the food I love, (grilled cheese sandwich and French fries), is there! And I don't have to embarrass myself ordering it from a kid's menu.

Carolyn WV Went to Theo’s today for my daughter’s birthday, Pam, with her uncle Doc and aunt Darlene from WV. This is a great place to eat. Food was good, reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly, checked frequently to ask if we needed anything. We felt like we were family. That’s a definite stop when we visit Pam again.
