It's not often you find a pecan flavor that actually let's the bitter notes of the pecan come through. Wonderful little shop, can't believe I've lived within 30 minutes of it for the last decade and this was my first visit.
We were looking for a local coffee shop while traveling through the area. This one looked inviting and didn't disappoint. Super cute, chill vibe. Delicious coffee and chai. Glad we stopped!
It took 33 minutes for a toasted bagel with cream cheese on the side. Enough said
I always meet a friend in NE a few times a year. Today we chose The Bean and I ordered a 16oz dirty chai latte for a whopping $9.65. I was charged a container fee, that I might add was needed for the coffee a COFFEE SHOP SELLS, and a credit card use fee that didn’t even give me the option to type a tip in. I had no cash. She asked if I wanted a receipt and it didn’t have any amount charged to my card on it. She had to explain to me what I was being charged. I go to Ember&Forge all the time and their dirty chai latte is 1000x better and $6 pre tip for 16oz. Cute place but the prices are horrific.
I'd say that overall experience is positive but I'd like to leave the message that vegetarian food recipes are pretty terrible.
Never a bad experience at the Bean
Best Chai Latte I've ever had! 😍☕️🫶

We were driving by on I-90 and needed to find a coffee shop and Google led us here. We really like supporting independent coffee shops especially ones with in house roasting. Not sure which coffee went into my latte… I got a medium and TBH, there was not much coffee flavor. It was basically a warm cup of milk. Next time I’ll get either a small latte or else just stay away from milk drinks. The interior looked pretty interesting with different seating areas. And the history of the place is cool - there a plaque on the wall outside documenting what businesses have been there. Barber shops, shoe stores, and coffee shops. We’ll be back!

After 9 hours on the road, we ventured off 90W for a caffeine fix! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Our barista Erin satisfied this traveling trio!
Great small town coffee house. Family run. A short wait as owner (mom) was handled other matters. No concerns.
Very clear this place means something to North East. People chatting with each other and the staff.
We went out of our way on our trip from Boston to Des Moines to stop at a local coffee shop rather than Dunkin or Starbucks. The Bean did not disappoint.
