We stop by here every other week as the Seolleongtang/ox tail bone soup is reliable delish comfort food. The donkatsu is ample portions. The spicy radish and kimchi also are tasty. The service is fast and friendly and there is a self service water and kimchi replenishment station.

It's funny to me that people complain about the new ownership. I actually gave this place a shot because it was under new ownership (I felt that service and quality of food under prior ownership was extremely subpar). I like the self-serve concept and the food seemed good enough. I ordered donkatsu, and I expected there was a reason for the higher price - the portion was huge. Came with a small scoop of Korean cole slaw and pasta, and a side cup of cream soup. I wish they gave a larger portion of rice with the dish, but I wouldn't take away a star for the small portion. I'm used to more of a tangy sauce with donkatsu, but this place's sauce had more of a nutty taste to it. Overall, quick and friendly service, and decent food. I'd come back again.

It's korean restaurant. The majority is soup with rice.
It's pretty good with kimchi.
Kimchi and water is self service. There is no need to leave tips. Nice !!

It’s a shame, we went tonight and thought the food quality went down (less 건데기 and more soup) and tasted off from what we were used to. My husband asked if the cook and owner changed and was able to confirm that it is now it under new ownership. Probably wont be coming back

I really liked their 돼지국밥. Unfortunately though, I don't think I will be returning. The dish used to contain quality pork slices. Now without notice they have changed the dish to primarily pork intestines. The dish is now more like 순대국밥 with no 순대. This is not good business practice.

I rarely do food reviews, but the food has been so awful that I felt the need to post. I used to frequent this restaurant once or twice a week because I thought the food was good. However, the past few times I went, the quality of the food has gone down an extreme amount. I speculate that there has been an owner or chef change. The pricing has gone up, but the food in change has gotten worse. The kimchi tasted SO terrible, and the main entree dish quality had also been recognizably worse. I loved this restaurant, so I really am hoping for positive changes in the future.

Tteokbokki seasoning tastes so good...Even if it means raising the price, why not use good rice cakes.... Like noodles, they are too thin and look like rubber bands... There are many good flour rice cakes that are not rice...
I ordered spicy sauce rice cake. It was good.
