I recently had a breakfast meeting at Common Grounds Café with other former board members of Manna on Main Street. The Café supports Manna’s free, 14-week “food service training to employment” program for the economically disadvantaged in our community. To begin, the food was exceptionally good, and plentiful. Located right inside the Lansdale YMCA, there are sandwiches, a full cafe, baked goods etc. the staff is friendly and even though it takes a second to get the food that’s okay. This organization helps give people opportunities and training so I’m more than willing to wait a couple of extra minutes. ❤️
