The food is decent for a bar. Above average compared to your typical bar food but mid for a restaurant. We went with a small group but just didnt feel a positive vibe there. We all agreed that we felt more like a burden being there as the night went on. It wasnt very busy which is why we were more confused about the level of service. Maybe because we didnt sit upstairs in the restaurant section...idk. Willing to try again and update the review as everyone can have off nights I guess. It is around the holidays so its possible they are depressed but it was unfortunate to bring the whole room down. Hoping everyone there is well.

Food was good as usual. Red Sangria good. I wish they wood put the original chiles role is back on the menu! They were much better than what they serve now!

The food was decent but not great. My husband loved the tamale and the corn bread was fantastic per our son. Margaritas were on point (traditional and coconut). Chips had a unique spice on them and they were good. Queso dip was a pass, odd texture and was velveeta. Steak and shrimp fajitas were only fair at best. They didn't even warm the tortilla shells which a basic that every Mexican restaurant does. No one wants cold shells! The peppers and onions needed to be cooked more and the steak was chewy. Guac was okay but served already partially brown. Chicken quesadilla app was fine but had smoky taste. All in all we wouldn't return there are definitely better Mexican restaurants out there. It's super pricey too. $160 for what I listed plus a 3% surcharge for using a card! Definitely not worth the value.

Been coming here for years and the service has gone downhill. The last few times we went haven't been great. We had to ask for chips and salsa and also had to ask for water multiple times. The food wasn't anything exciting. The chicken chimichangas were just ok. Margaritas were the best part of the meal. Not sure we will be back for awhile.

So sad. I've been a patron since the inception. I feel like a good friend has passed away. Clearly under incompetent new management. Place was practically empty prime time Saturday night. I guess I was the last to know this place is barely breathing!
