Best cheesesteaks in the area! I've been eating there since I was a kid, loved it then and even more now! The portions are big, especially the awesome fries, and the steak sandwiches are packed! The staff and owners are really nice people, always a pleasure to order from here.

Get the fries! Thick cut, nicely seasoned and perfectly fried.
The only J's left in the Valley. Soft rolls, orange grease and all. Their perogie are deep fried, portions are generous.
If you have a craving for J's soft cheesesteak sandwich and amazing fries, this is the place to go.
I've loved this place since I was a kid. They don't always make em just right but when they do the cheese is metled on the bun so perfectly. No one else does it the same way.

I do not live in the area anymore but Always get steaks for take out when visiting.. Unfortunately, the meat quality in August 2025 did not match past experience. It was tougher and less flavorful, and I really hate to say this after so many years of looking forward to great steaks. Maybe Good meat is getting hard to find and more expensive, or this was a one time fluke, but I would gladly spend more for the higher quality product.

I grew up in this area but we moved out of state. It’s been over 20 years since we have been gone and my almost 70 year old mother just went and was treated so disrespectfully. She couldn’t wait to get back for a J’s sub and let me tell you, what a let down. I’m extremely distraught on how my mother was treated there today.

The hoagie was good, it is a large hoagie. I spent $27.50 on two turkey hoagies. I feel that’s a bit expensive for just hoagie. On top of that I was charged $0.60x6 on EACH hoagie for “extra cheese” which I did not order. When I called to ask about it, I was told I would get a call back and heard nothing. I called again and they said they would mail me my refund. I have yet to receive it. I don’t think I would go out of my way to eat there again.
