Had a great time here. Food was nice and great, and our waitress Hayley was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back and will be requesting Hayley from now on.

Food is great. So happy New owners took over. I used to go there all the time and than about a year and half ago, the food just started going down hill. Much better now though. I highly recommend..

We got the buffet and the food was cold. Nothing like cold breakfast food. It looked like it was yesterday's leftovers. Visiting from Florida...much better diners around to choose from.
Service wasn’t all that great. Food was ok, too expensive for type of place it was. It was more like a diner type place inside. No lemon for your tea, ran out of Pepsi. Flies bothering you while you eat. All that for $42.09 for 2 people. Will not eat there again, but had to try it.
Great friendly and attentive service while still being casual. Food is good quality and great value for the prices. I want to go back soon and try their weekend brunch!!!!!

Top 3 worst breakfast experiences I’v ever had in my life time! After setting ourself in one of their horrid window booths, my 81 year old grandmother sat on a hard booth cushion hurting her tail bone. Then being greeted by Savanna, our waitress, we proceeded to order. My grandmother ordered an 5.99 breakfast and I chose to splurge on a $18.99 breakfast skillet 🍳. Imagine to my surprise when the food came out, I literally had the same portion of food that was on my grandmothers plate. Not only was my breakfast not on a skillet as the menu described but my potatoes were extremely undercooked after requesting they be extra well done. When i let Savanna know she let out a loud scoff and walked away. When she returned she snatched my breakfast from the table after I insisted she only take the potatoes back so I could eat my food warm. Upon return I informed her that I’v never experienced anything like this. She and her co-workers could have cared less as there was no manager and no supervisor to speak to. Upon paying my bill I asked why I should pay 3 times the about for the same food being rearranged on the plate with no answer. I then informed that I would be paying under protest with no response. Long story short there is basically no such thing as a skillet as it does not even come on a skillet plate it’s just a scam to get you to spend more money if you’re not a local, they should be as ashamed of how they treat customers. Unfortunately, the outcome from this review will not go far as Savanna will continue to mistreat patrons and they will continue not to care. Beware of this place as they take advantage of the elderly and do not respect the US military.
Service was good, my husband got a cheese steak and the roll was stale, I’ll never go back again
We had been going to the Post House for approximately 20-21 years. We spent anywhere from 40 to $70 / week. Three people quit going when a stink bug was found in the food. Last Sunday, I found a piece of wire in my Omelet. Having 2-heart attacks and a minor issue with breathing, this wire could have killed me. The first kicker that day was we were made to eat with small plastic, quite bendable plastic ware. The management should try that out. CHEAP for a small kid, but far from a joke for an adult. The plastic silverware has been issued when there has been a shortage of cheap metal utensils. Noise Levels had been nice. Booth Backs are rocky. Coffee Cups are like Tea-Cups ($3.00) not too easy to get a refill. That is New Management Practice. Old Management gave a good cup of coffee and were very prompt for refills. New Management gave No More Military, Senior Discounts and Raised the PRICES. Did notice that we thought more cars were pulling in, but believe is the "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT SIGN" It was a 40-minute one way drive for us, and we were happy about it. Starting this Sunday, it will be someplace around Avondale, maybe Perkins, Hanks in Kennett Square, possibly a Family Restaurant near Longwood Gardens, but certainly not going back to "THE POST HOUSE"

Waited over 20 minutes to get our drink order taken. The waitress was rude and didn't even stand at our table long enough for my husband to tell her what he wanted. She seemed like she was on something. Never got a menu, an older couple came in after us they fell all over them. Drinks and menus right away. I can guarantee we would have tipped better… even with a crappy waitress. We walked out after another 10 minutes of not getting drinks because our waitress was chatting with another behind the counter. Thought this place was turning around for the better but I guess not.
