A Hidden Surprise in Southern Lancaster County

Wayvine Vineyards is an absolute standout among Pennsylvania wineries—and that’s coming from someone who usually isn’t a fan of PA wine! Tucked away in the beautiful rolling hills of southern Lancaster County, this vineyard offers not only stunning views but also a genuinely enjoyable wine experience that exceeded my expectations.

One of the things I love most about Wayvine is the diversity of their wine varietals. Whether you're into dry reds, crisp whites, or something a bit more adventurous, there's truly something for every palate. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and they go above and beyond to help you find the wine that suits you best—no pressure, just great hospitality.

The ambiance is just as impressive as the wine. Inside, the tasting room is cozy and relaxing, perfect for lingering over a glass or flight. There’s also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so you can soak up the sun on a nice day or stay comfortable inside when the weather isn’t ideal. The views from the property are absolutely picturesque and add to the overall peaceful vibe.

Wayvine also regularly features live music, which enhances the laid-back atmosphere and makes every visit feel like a special occasion. On top of that, they offer more than just wine—there’s a solid selection of craft beers and cocktails, so everyone in your group will find something they enjoy. Their homemade pizzas are a delicious bonus, and they even allow you to bring in your own food if you prefer to pack a picnic.

Overall, Wayvine Vineyards is a refreshing and welcoming spot that’s perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening. The combination of quality drinks, friendly service, and beautiful surroundings makes this place one of my new favorites in the southern end. Highly recommend!

sitting in the place right now with dogs and girlfriend. There’s a live band, of three playing eighties jazz. Wine and marg both were above expectations. I’ll be taking them back here

Nice indoor/outdoor venue for chilling! They have wine, beer and mixed drinks. Pizzas on Friday and open mic night. Came to see Nick play. A lot of talented music there for open mic night. It’s a family environment out in the middle of nowhere which I love. Be aware they have no air conditioning except for Mother Nature. I would suggest adding fans for air flow. 😉 will be back in Aug 2 to see Nick play again.

A beautiful winery to visit. The wine steward was great and very informative. The wife tried several reds and blends and ended up purchasing 6 bottles. Afterwards we enjoyed a picnic lunch at a table under a shade tree (with permission)

We popped in on our way home from Annapolis and wow! So delicious. This place clearly takes pride in what they are creating. Every sip was delicious. Our top faves were the Carmine Rosè, Gruner vetliner and both red blends! This is a must visit winery for PA!

We had a small birthday bash, it was amazing! The communication with Zach and James was very thorough and they offered great options for the party. Nancy was so incredible and had the event space set up and ready. It was so beautiful, the music was pleasant, wine was DELICIOUS and over all, it was just perfect.

Where do I begin? I hosted my best friends bridal shower at WayVine in the tasting room. It was the most beautiful day we could’ve ever asked for. The space was gorgeous before we touched a thing. There was an excellent jazz player there. Nancy, Dave, James, and all other staff were fantastic. The guests are still texting me what a wonderful place it is and great experience. I’ll be back to visit on my own and for any event I have.

Fantastic atmosphere. We went when it was chillier and made a fire, super snuggly. I went with friends but I could absolutely picture bringing my kids there as the outdoor space is expansive. Just pack some snacks and go, you won't regret it!

What a wonderful day meeting the owners and wine makers, amazing views and the best wine we've had on the East Coast.

Went for the first time recently and absolutely loved it! The live music is awesome, and the drink selection is great. The perfect place if you’re in southern Chester County!
