Great little winery, we were there for a car cruise. Ketchy names for the wines, nice people and staff.

Nice experience with friendly service. Dogs enjoyed their time in the grass.

Great local winery, fun old house turned into a unique winery experience. We have been multiple times, recently visited and sat outside since there was a live band and we brought our pups. Friendly and helpful staff, wine is reasonably priced. The wine slushies are my go to!

We enjoyed this much needed reprieve from the 90° heat! The tomato and cheese board was great! Really enjoyed the white wines and walked away with more than a few bottles as well as a Trophy wine slushy! Nice shade and dog friendly!

The building is well maintained and renovated. Good wine selection as well as cocktails and beer. We went there on a Thursday night for a psychic event. The staff is very friendly.

Unfortunately I had an extremely poor experience at this location for my bridal shower 7/11/2021. If anyone reads this, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a venue for a wedding or party. When we arrived to set up it was extremely hot. Not like 'warm'. It was sauna hot. The bridal party was rushing to set up so we couldn't deal with trying to cool the area, the staff on-site, 2 people, were made aware for them to turn on the AC. They told us they would. Some of my family members have issues with heat, so this became a concern for me. I even asked for it to be explicitly in the contract to have the 'AC on full blast'.For the first 1.5 hours it was an OK shower, just extremely hot. Guests kept leaving to ask for the AC to be turned on but everyone was told the same message. What comes after some dense pittsburgh heat? Rain. At first guests were relieved to be able to breathe, until the room started flooding. I wish I was joking but it did.Unfortunately there were only 2 staff members on-site who were not only trying to please the party, but the winery was still open. More guests went to the bar to complain about the water coming in but nothing was done.We quickly realized that the gifts people brought were now sitting in the puddles as well as purses and a DSLR camera so cleanup began early.People who were visiting the winery that day then started to walk through the private room to go to the bar, tracking mud. When asked to please avoid the room for a private party they got verbally abusive and appeared overservedThe manager came with beach towels which were thrown all over the floor. At this point unfortunately myself and others were very unhappy... and this was the first time I had a Manager laugh in my face when I was in actual tears. The owner did come down (after many calls from the 2 staff onsite) to survey the area, and agreed this was a shitshow bridal shower. To boot.. My Nonna, who is 95 left early.... to be left standing in the rain. Because the food truck they had come that day blocked in our car in the handicapped parking. Some other details to add:1. The owner and manager admitted they knew the AC was broken. They didn't mention anything to us, even though we rented the Sun Room.1a. The staff also knew the AC was broken, so every time a guest or myself commented or asked for the AC to be turned on, they lied.2. The bathroom door was broken.3. No one has since contacted me for further information or to apologize4. I was refunded my money, which I requested. In the end I did get my money back for the room rental. However I do not want to open the can of worms that's involved when claiming there was damage on the gifts or camera. What really upset me was that this event can't be re-done. This is a once in a lifetime experience.I never leave reviews like this, but I feel this necessary to avoid another bride having to live through the same experience.

I hosted my birthday party at Black Dog Wine Company and the entire experience was amazing! The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating and the space was perfect! It's an ideal spot for a large party that involves a range of ages, including kids! Several of my guests commented on how nice the entire staff was and I'm so grateful to them for seamlessly coordinating all the moving parts of the party (caterers, dj, etc.) and taking that stress off of my shoulders! They even helped with clean up at the end of the night!I highly recommend this venue!

Wine is okay but my biggest grievance is with the interior. The decor is so soulless and horrible. Brown tables with black table clothes and nothing else. It is not cozy or inviting at all. Being that it is summer you can sit outside and that is relatively pleasant. The staff is helpful and kind. I was hoping for so much more and don't feel as though I need to go back.

Went to the mystery dinner at black dog on April 28.The show was good, we were the last table to eat, by the time we got up to get our food, they had run out. Asked to put out more food and was told there was no more. We paid over 50 dollars per ticket. Very upsetting, probably will not go to the winery again.

My friends and I rented the "igloo" or outdoor bubble they offer on the property for a girls night out. Great idea and it was nice that it was heated, but due to condensation, the cushions on the furniture were all wet and we were dripped on continuously throughout the evening. We had pre-ordered every appetizer they offered and were excited to try them, but unfortunately the Buffalo chicken dip and spinach dip were both cold when served to us, along with the 2 small frozen pretzels and cheese dip. The meat and cheese board was okay but very simple - I guess we were expecting more of a gourmet experience and the food just didn't hit the spot. It was also difficult to navigate the inside of the venue. We followed signs downstairs for the restroom and a woman ran over to an employee yelling that we didn't belong downstairs and had to leave. There were no signs indicating it was a private party, and I have been down there before for live music - we assumed it was open to the public so it was a little unsettling to be reprimanded like that. Throughout the rest of the night, nobody checked on us or offered us anything else to drink. We expected that someone would ask if we were okay or needed anything as we paid almost $100 for the bubble and appetizers, plus wine and other drinks once we arrived. Overall, just not a great experience, but I understand they are opening a full service bistro soon so I may consider giving them another try once those kinks are worked out.

Just had my son's rehearsal dinner at Black Dog. Couldn't have asked for a smoother event. Friendly and helpful staff. They did more than I expected. Will definitely recommend for an event. Will also return just to hang out and savor some wine.

I absolutely love this place for sitting outside on a beautiful evening and enjoying some wine and snacks. This past weekend I went solo and felt completely happy and comfortable sitting outside with a glass of wine, watching some folks play corn hole. You can bring your own food or try some of the snack type foods they have available. When I went on Saturday, Jennie let me try several of the wines since I forgot which ones I liked! Definitely a great place for a girls night, date night, or solo date!

Rented the Sun Porch at Black Dog Wine Company for a bridal shower, and it was an absolutely fantastic! Before our arrival, the dining tables were set up beautifully with linens, chargers, china, and silverware. The owner, Mark, helped set up the drink table, and always made sure there were full water pitchers on the table. He was a great help! We ordered pitchers of mimosas and sangria for our guests; wine slushees and seltzers were also available for purchase. The porch had an portable air conditioner, as well as ceiling fans, so the room was always a nice, cool temperature!Note: they do not supply catering, we brought in our own catering from Mission BBQ.
