I stop at this diner occasionally and sit at the counter for a quick meal. 🥘. The last 2 times I have been there the food was not good. This past week I asked the server for advice on 2 different meals. She said neither I don’t eat that specific food. She had no other recommendations. I ordered the hot meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes tasted like fake potatoes the consistency was off. The entire meal was cold. The meatloaf tasted sour. It was burnt on all ends. I took 1 bite of the meat and that was enough. I ate some of the bread and the potatoes. When the server came back and said is everything good? I said no. She was like oh can I get you something else I declined. She did take half off the bill. The atmosphere bordered on hostile. Everyone was on edge. Another customer walked out without giving a tip and left his card. The server yelled for him. But came back and complained about the whole ordeal. I won’t be going back. I don’t know who the owners is but please take my advice and fix this place. I used to really enjoy going here.

The dirtiest run down restaurant. Had to wait a while for our waitress, then when she did she took our order with her back to us. I got the Oakdale special and the meat was grey. Had high expectations with all the good reviews.

Average food with average service typical of an average diner
Used to go here all the time. Would always get two Italian hoagies for $18.00. They had a lot of meat and veggies. Today we picked up two hoagies (see pictures) very little meat and veggies. Packed in a pizza box🤦. We will not be back.

First time here after moving 7 minutes up the road. Walked it was ablento seat ourselves. Amazing and very friendly staff. A bit of a what for food but 1000% worth what they provide. I ordered the wedding soup for the soup of the day. First place I have been to that has made wedding soup the traditional way my grandmother from Italy made hers. Definitely brought me down memory lane of her amazing food. For 4 people it costed around $50 which wasn't bad at all! Leaving we were told good bye and have a nice day by the server's we saw on the way out. Very local and friendly dinner 10/10 would recommend if your looking for a relaxing dinner experience.

Large calzone with pepperoni & sausage. So good & big. Best in the area. Stuffed cabbage (2) special with mashed potatoes. Really good. Tender meat, good seasoning. Will get both again.
