While the food and service was good their salad prices were high. I ordered a grilled chicken salad for $12 and it was the size of a side salad and charged extra for dipping sauce for our appetizers. Pulled pork and burgers were good portions. I think their breaded Cauliflower was $5-6 for about 10-13 of them.
I don't golf often but Lost Creek was a great place to spend some time with friends. Overall the course was good, we only played the front 9 which is open. The day we played they were still cleaning up tree debris from a storm. One bridge is out, some greens had bare spots and grass clumps. Could use a little TLC but a nice course overall.
Decent hometown course. Exactly what you would expect for a small town golf course. One of the better layouts for a course in central PA I've seen though actually. Elevation changes, doglegs, and some sloping fairways can be testy... You'll enjoy a few easy par 4's. But you'll have the normal small hometown course pitfalls of maintenance and such. But I would surely bring out of towners to this course, it's fun either way.
