I bought food at Applefest from Deets tent. My bbq sandwich was pretty awful, the meat was completely dried out and the only thing you could taste was a little salt and there was no slaw available. Also purchased a Philly cheesesteak and it came with some strange nacho cheese on top that was so bad we threw it away. Very disappointed for $20

This place has really good ice cream! Hot food also. You can pre-order for faster pickup. Staff was friendly and patient since we didn't know what we wanted as soon as we got there. I would forn sure eat there again.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and I have the best memories at this place with my grandma. The ice cream is simple but delicious, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. They do unique flavors of soft serve, this time it was banana and peanut butter, and they even make doggie Sundays. I highly recommend coming here.

Our family has been visiting Deets sugar house for many many years and is our go to spot for a yearly visit with out of town family. Year after year we sit around the picnic tables and comment on the amazing food, ice cream and the ginormous portions of both! You cannot beat their prices either! Best wedgies and ice cream around! The atmosphere is wonderful aside from their junk hoarding neighbors (nothing they can do) and the staff is always so friendly. Food takes a little while to come but….it’s fresh and worth the wait. Local and family owned is the way to go so I highly suggest checking it out! ENJOY ?
