We enjoyed a lovely brunch at the Exchange on Saturday. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back.

We had such a great experience! We went there for the first time and enjoyed brunch which was incredible. The service from Tessa was impeccable! She is an absolute gem, incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the building, the establishment itself and really believes in this place!! Hang on to her! I didn't catch the bartenders name (the blonde Crabtree sister) but our drinks were amazing! Chef Chuck really knows what he's doing when it comes to the food, we loved every bit of it! The building is beautiful! I wish this place nothing but success because it sure is a nice place to have right in Oil City! It's unlike anything in the area! We took some brews home to enjoy as well! Keep up the great work!!

My friends and I decided to check out the new Exchange restaurant in Oil City yesterday morning for brunch. The shrimp and grits were probably the best I’ve ever had. We had the best experience thanks to our waitress Alana. From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming and incredibly attentive. She checked on us at just the right times, gave excellent menu recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Our drinks were always full, and she even noticed the little details before we had to ask. Alana had such a positive, friendly energy and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. She’s hands down the best server I’ve ever had, and I’ll definitely be asking for her every time I come back!

Stopped in while at camp for archery season with my cousin from VA. From what I’ve read online it was a must try. Let me tell you… this place blew me away. The food is absolutely top-notch. I will be back to try everything on the menu. Next time, it’s the Muffaletta and beignets. We even got to meet Jeff, the owner, and you can tell he genuinely cares about what he’s building here, and the people he serves. The drink options are also top-notch, beer selection and mixed drinks from a 5 star brew/restaurant.

The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and comfortable. Just stunning in the old bank with the vault and all. It’s one of those places you walk into and instantly feel good. Service was excellent too… friendly, attentive, and on point without being overbearing.

If you’re anywhere near Oil City or plan a road trip, this is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back.

After eating there several times I find the food inconsistent, sometimes ok, sometimes not. No real vegetarian items, and a bunch of lettuce does not cut it as an option. How about including some vegetables? Like your vegetable sides? In a salad that is. Yea there's the noodles but only on Friday. I applaud the daring (for our area) menu but was hoping for great food. Had the catfish a couple times. Dry and cold once, warmer and fresher the next time. Though the shrimp was way over cooked. If the food matched the atmosphere... Service has improved. Cocktails are ok as is beer. I hope for improvement! The place is cool as hell.

Absolutely amazing service. Very attentive waitresses on an incredibly busy night. Had the flank steak that was cooked to perfection. The dipping sauce for the flank steak was a shining star and added a depth of flavor that was so amazing. Looking forward to many more dinner dates at this lovely restaurant!

Food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The only criticism is that their list of "mains" was rather short with 2 only available on select days of the week. I really wanted one of them, but since days that I'm in that area don't coincide with availability, I guess I'll have to keep wondering. Jeff, one of the owners, is very interesting and the back story of the distillery is just as interesting as the products.

Found this lovely place by accident on a Sunday afternoon while antiquing with my sister and brother in law and boy are we glad we found it! I live in Butler but frequent the Franklin and Oil City area for shopping and antiquing. The Exchange is a one of a kind really cool place to eat and drink. We loved everything from the beer to the food, and the wonderful staff. Jeff, Lindsey, Tessa and Lily were very pleasant, funny and accommodating. We learned about the history of the place and the service was excellent!
Jetlag beer is amazing. Fries and sandwiches are delicious. We can't wait to go back and plan to make it part of our monthly place to eat. It's well worth the drive. Give it a try you definitely wont be disappointed.
Don't forget to buy a T-shirt if you go 😊

It’s such a great thing to see this building bringing something new to Oil City, after decades of sitting unused. You can tell the building was lovingly renovated, honoring the history of the original 1920s bank. The restaurant has an upscale, yet comfortable vibe, and the food and drinks are great! Service was very friendly. It’s wonderful to see something like this come to OC. I’ll be back again!

Very cool old bank building, so the setting is historical with an excellent restored mural on the ceiling and they made the old bank vault a tasting room. Excellent food and delicious craft cocktails made with their own distilled liquor in house. Great atmosphere. Will come again whenever I am in town.
