There are few places in this area with Vegan bakery items. Woods & River has them! Wonderful coffee, many Vegan milks and syrups,… just be sure to tell them you want Vegan. Staff is extremely polite and accommodating. Shop is near the river, has outdoor seating for Summer, and a beautiful atmosphere.

Wonderful staff that is both professional and kind. I was given a compliment before I even reached the counter. I had the frozen latte with caramel and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The coffee was good and the bagel was cut like a sandwich closed face. It was made with care and not haphazardly thrown together like a lot of places. When you reach for the door handle, there is a rainbow flag that includes the Transgender colors and says, "All are welcome." This has particular appeal to me being transgender in an East Coast city I know nothing about. It's like a little island of safety in a world that wants to cast me aside a lot of the time. If they had night hours, I would hang out there. So, all in all , a good staff, good coffee, good food, good ambiance! 5 STAR experience.
