The food was better than just okay, but not great. Maybe it was what I ordered, which I would not order again. I have to say that they make the best Southern Comfort Manhattan I have ever had, and I have had quite a few. It was PERFECT, and with the word perfect attached to it, I did not care how much it cost.
Cusumano's is easily my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. My family has been coming here for special occasions for years. The inside is clean and pretty, the servers are always great, and the portions are big. Seriously I will always love Cusumano. Always our #1 choice for Italian.

Odd, weird flavored bolognese sauce. Was it cloves, nutmeg or ? It was very overwhelming and not pleasant. Haven't experienced such poor quality food in past visits. Tomato sauce seemed a bit overcooked maybe burnt.
Crime against the medium rare ordered filet mignon. It came well done and pathetic. Grandma ma's chicken tasted as old as poor grandmas shoes. It was dry with a lovely sawdust texture.
