Best Chinese food in Oley and surrounding areas! Chicken is always tender and not chewy, their egg rolls are just perfect and we love their lo mein. I always get frustrated when some restaurants just add in a bunch of broccoli stems in their food and Hong Kong has a good mix of all veggies in their meals. We go here frequently. Definitely recommend!

Great portions. Crispy sweet and sour chicken with very tangy sauce. Beef with Broccoli is also a stand-out. Tons of leftovers to enjoy for days after. Friendly staff and very quick. Highly recommend in Berks County.

Hong Kong stands as a pillar of the Oley community, it sits as the only Chinese food restaurant for many miles around and there's a reason for that; the food is consistent and delicious, the service is fast, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and lively; I recommend this restaurant to many and it's my go-to when strolling around Oley. The egg drop soup and roast pork lo mein are a highlight, I always leave satisfied and almost always with leftovers too, even when buying the smaller portion.

My husband just got me some food from here, and it doesn't taste bad, but I just bite into something hard in my rice. Like almost crack my teeth hard. Not cool. My tooth hurt

Some recipes seemed to have recently changed. Used to get s19 all the time, it's not like it was. Sauce has changed and has less chicken. Hot peppers aren't hot anymore. It's not that it's bad, it's just different from how it's been for many years.

Ewwwww. No…just no. We decided to try this instead of our usual Golden Dragon in Gilbertsville and it was…not good. Everything looked and tasted “off”. My House Special Chow Mein that was supposed to have pork, chicken and shrimp in it was 99% vegetable mush with a few scraps of what I think was chicken and tiny shrimp like you’d get in a can. Hard pass for us.
