Excellent all around!! Soft pretzels, fried chicken sandwich, and fresh cut fries were incredible. The owner, Ethan, is super friendly and an incredible cook!Parking: Plenty of the spots on the street and there is also a parking lot beside the restaurant.

There was a mishap with the frother while making my coffee. I didn't mind but they refunded my drink anyway, and even gave me a brownie on the side! It's a very cute and friendly little diner.

Hidden gem ? alert!I've lived less than 15 mins away from this spot for three years and never stopped in until yesterday - and boy, have I been missing out. Olyphant is lucky to have a spot like Ethan's cranking out dish after dish of deliciousness. The owner (Ethan) is clearly passionate about putting out high quality food. I would highly recommend the fried cheese burger with fries. My boyfriend loved the stuffed waffles with apples. Follow the Instagram account for updates on special dishes of the week.Vegetarian options: Many breakfast items are (or can be made) vegetarian. They have pizza which is also vegetarian friendly. And lots of coffee drinks!Dietary restrictions: Coffees have non milk substitutes (for an upcharge).Parking: Shop is open 9am-2pm so during the week there is a fee to park on the street. On weekends I think it's free. The restaurant also shares usage of the Royal Room parking lot attached to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat ground entrance, multiple points of entry.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. They had a Polish Plate for a lunch special. The food was excellent, it came quickly and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely come back!

We visited on a Saturday, just a few minutes before 11am (they open at 9am) and they were already sold out of their breakfast special (cinnamon bun pancakes), so that was a bummer-make sure you get there early! they close at 2 so their hours are hard to accommodate if you work a 9-5. The food was delicious, friendly staff, clean environment, order at the counter.

My co-workers and I order breakfast and lunch from here time to time and I will say the food is outstanding! I highly recommend it! The service is great as well! We take break at 9:30 so the staff accommodated us by letting put our order in the day before, since they don't open until 9:00. My only complaint is that I wish they opened a little earlier for breakfast. Other than that I would highly recommend this place. Lunch is excellent as well!

Nice little place in a olyphant, Pa. got the chili- more like soup than chili but tasty and spicy. would get this again! but served kind of lukewarm. fries- kind of flaccid. would have wanted for them to put in the fryer again but there is a sign "chef is always right" so... cheesesteak- your average cheesesteak. fried pizza- tasty but doughy. very sweet sauce. specialty coffee- good but served warm and not hot for a hot drink. not packed around 1200.. clean and cute. definitely friendly service. lots of takeout orders. this seems like a good place if your tired of burgers and fries and chain restaurants and want to support you local businesses. they have a menu that changes which seems good. would probably try it again when the menu changes

My entire life was lived in the town of Olyphant. I have grown up going to the many restaurants downtown, and have grown to love it. So, my surprise when I walked past a sign that said "cafe" one day was completely justified and also backed with excitement. For YEARS I have said "I wish there was a locally owned cafe here" and finally, my dream had come true. First things first the cafe is homey and cozy. Entering the door, you are met with a welcoming staff and a modern feel, in a sophisticated, but homey atmosphere. Combine that with the aforementioned great staff and coffee, you have a recipe for success and comfort. The coffee is great. Wether it is a latte, espresso, or a hot or iced coffee, it is all delicious and fresh. I should mention that you will also know what is being prepared, as it is prepared behind the counter with precision and grace. The coffee has a nutty flavor, and the aroma matches it. Its not too strong, but just strong enough that it still tastes like coffee. It is divine and invigorating. The food at Ethan's Eats is also scrumptious. Ethan makes all the food fresh, and it makes the food immaculate. He cooks eggs perfectly, makes eggs flawlessly, tosses salads proficiently. A favorite of mine is the Egg and Cheese Bagelnini. The crunch, the flavor of the cheese and the incorporation of the egg blends the flavor in a delightful way. The bagels are also fresh, and taste good, like a bagel should taste. He also brews fresh soup daily, and while most of the time I am unable to eat it, because of dietary restrictions, I can say with complete validation that it will taste delightful. It is also convenient, you can simply walk in there and grab a to go salad, like a shrimp salad I enjoyed when I went all the way back into last year. Discussing baked goods and pastries, there is nothing that I can say besides, everything is amazing. It is perfect. Truly, the food here is amazing. Finally I should add that Ethan supports many local businesses and creators. He sells paintings, stickers, sauces, coffee, and it is in a small town in need of attraction. It is admirable, considering I have grown up in Olyphant and have a love for this town. The location itself is convenient as well. Being on Lackawanna makes it a great place to stop in for a quick, delicious bite to eat in a cozy, comforting place whilst being greeted by some of the most amazing staff members and service I have ever received. (a note for Ethan) Ethan, thank you. Thanks for adding a place for me and my friends to meet and discuss our lives. Thank you for giving me a place to walk too when I wake up in the morning. Thank you for bringing me a love for coffee. I wish the best for your cafe, and hope it lasts forever.
