LORIE'S FARMHOUSE DINER

My husband and I stopped after church on early Sunday morning. This was our first time to Lorie's. There was only one table when we came. There is not alot of seating, for this is a farmhouse turned into restaurant. We waited and waited to have our orders taken. Little did we know but there were more than several people waiting and waiting for their orders to arrive and waiting for orders to be taken. Our order was finally taken and then we were on the waiting list again. The family beside asked if they could take home what was prepared and forget about the rest. We soon found out that one of our orders was misplaced?? Much later (maybe we should have just left), my breakfast came. It was good. My husband's chicken sandwich was okay. The macaroni salad was not good- very plain and mostly noodles. All in all, this was a terrible experience. Sorry... but it just was. I was very surprised because I had seen such good reviews. Maybe it was because there was a party being hosted at 12:30pm and we were the last people allowed in and we didn'tknow that until other people were told not to come in. The best part was that there was not a hint - I shouldn't even say it- of a mask or anything related.

Nice little place with countryside hospitality walk in sit at any open table and help yourself to a cup of coffee. Nice friendly staff and good food.

Breakfast was terrific. Staff courteous. Left full and can't wait to try the place for lunch. Cozy setting. So much better than than a crowded chain restaurant. Not saying every time but support a little business like this and feel good about yourself.

Since our first visit at Lorie's about a month ago, we have come back roughly 20 times (and would've been more if they were open for dinner too)! This place is amazing! The food is great and there is always something new or different on the menu. Amazing service and so friendly. You literally feel like a part of the family. I really wish I could give more than 5 stars...

I visited Lorie's for the first time this morning for breakfast. I am happy to say I had an excellent meal and the service was outstanding. Since this restaurant is only two miles from my cottage I will be coming here requently during my visits to the area. Thanks for a great meal Loriei. I wish you the best of luck with your business!

Service excellent, food tasty, and if your on a diet that's good because the portions are for birds...
