Outstanding food, fantastic service. The menu was simple and not overly complicated. I expected to pay far more for the food than I did. Nothing was previously frozen and perfectly cooked to real standards. (order well done if you want no pink)

Drove over 5 hours from Southern CT. It was worth the trip! Had the 1lb platter of Brisket and pulled pork. The fresh vegetables side was also fantastic. It paired perfectly with the house IPA.

I saw a lot of reviews that said customer service1 qas horrible but decided to go anyways, i dont know if those people had a different server but ours was 100% on top on top of things if i had any complaint it would be that she was over TOO much. The food may look pricey on paper but we got a giant macncheese, a macncheese with pulled pork, a brisket, cornbread, frenchfries, and coleslaw for $63. Overall very nice place.

We like visiting the Rusted Nut whenever we’re in the area, but the last few times we’ve been there we’ve been very disappointed in the meats. The atmosphere, drinks, and appetizers are great, but the main thing…the meats have been dry. A few months ago we stopped and got the Longbed Platter and the Turkey and Pulled Pork were so dry it just wasn’t enjoyable eating them. We were there this past weekend and got the barbequed ribs platter and grilled ribeye steak. Both were overcooked and dry. Maybe it was because they were so busy with it being Mother’s Day weekend, but someone needs to tell the BBQ Master to cook the meats a little less so they are not overdone. It’s just very disappointing when you are expecting moist, delicious smoked meat and you get something that is dry and tough. On a positive note, the brisket was good on both visits.
