I'm not a drinker by any means, but bf is besties with one of the bartenders, so I did my gf duties and went along lol. It is truly the definition of a hole in the wall, with obscure parking literally accross the street from the building, on what is best described as a boating dock of sorts! Sweetest bartenders and delicious food !Left my phone on accident and went back for it and they safely took it and put it behind the bar with them so no one stole it ! I highly recommend this bar it's incredible !
We've been vacationing at Lake Wallenpaupack for almost 20 years, and the Boathouse has always been one of our favorites. The staff is really nice and friendly, there's a fun vibe (like live music and corn hole outside while you're waiting on busier nights, and a sort of ring-on-a-string game on your table), and most importantly the food is great. This is going to sound silly if you've never been here, but the family-size big bowl of salad at dinner is amazing....
