I'm from Mississippi. I heard about this place on social media. Decided to stop in and give it a try hands-down the closest thing to Southern cooking on the east coast! For me, it's a 10 out of 10. Very clean great atmosphere l'll definitely be back.

I love soul food and have visited many soul food restaurants. Im sitting here still eating and felt inclined to leave a review. This is the new number 1 spot for sould food. The chicken sandwich, whiting, greens, mac and cheese, and cornbread are absolutely delicious. Seasoned perfectly. All the food is fresh and hot. The staff are super friendly. This is a 5 star establishment.

I took my 82 year old mom here for lunch after church last Sunday. She bit into a hush puppy and her eyes closed. I asked her if she was ok and she said it is soooo good. Watched the same thing happen when she ate the cornbread. She ordered the chicken sandwich and I ordered the catfish with collard greens. Everything was delicious and we were so full when we left. I’ve been following your restaurant on social media for a while now. Good job getting the word out. We will definitely be back and we will tell our friends.

Teen’s Place in Oxford, Pennsylvania, was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the incredible owner — not only beautiful on the outside but with a truly beautiful spirit that shines through. The staff was warm, welcoming, and made the experience even better. The ambience was spectacular — cozy, vibrant, and full of positive energy.
As for the food — everything was delicious! We had the catfish, potato salad, dirty rice, string beans, and cornbread. Each dish was full of flavor and tasted homemade with love. You can really tell they put their heart into every plate.
If you’re ever in the area, Teen’s Place is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back!
