I'm from Mississippi. I heard about this place on social media. Decided to stop in and give it a try hands-down the closest thing to Southern cooking on the east coast! For me, it's a 10 out of 10. Very clean great atmosphere l'll definitely be back.

I am ashamed to admit that my family has not gotten food from #TeensPlace in Oxford until today. Let me tell you...it is everything I have heard it was and more! I would post a picture of the delicious food we ordered, but my husband and son had it all gone in no time! My husband is still raving about the potato salad and I think the mac & cheese my boys had was gone in a couple of bites. I love soul food and have visited many soul food restaurants. Im sitting here still eating and felt inclined to leave a review. This is the new number 1 spot for sould food. The chicken sandwich, whiting, greens, mac and cheese, and cornbread are absolutely delicious. Seasoned perfectly. All the food is fresh and hot. The staff are super friendly. This is a 5 star establishment.
