Well it's a nice place I guess the people that work there were very nice and cordial always had a smile and ready to help but I ordered a Cheesesteak and so did several other people we had a small party there of about 15 and The Cheesesteak was like little balls of ground up sand it was so dry the cheese was barely visible I asked for mine with peppers and onions add mushrooms but they don't put those things in it they would only do it with onions that were also ground up where you couldn't even recognize them in the sandwich it was around lunch time so someone had bacon and eggs and they said it was good so if you're not getting breakfast I would skip it when I said something about no peppers they brought me out some cold sliced pickled peppers and that's not what you put on the cheese steak....BTW I would not go there again

I had a cheesteak and it was delicious! There were a few hairs in the sandwich, so they took it back and took it off the check and got me something else to eat. The service was great, and the food was good other than that detail!

A Palmerton tradition, great place to meet friends at. Jackie and her staff aim to please.
If nothing else try some of Jackie's homemade seasonal pies. Worth any weight gain that may occur!
The food is generally "Diner" type food with daily special 's that bump up dining experience. When Jackie has prepared a special for the day, try it!

I order a Buffalo chicken cheese steak with extra cheese definitely reminded me of jalapeño mango chicken, then Buffalo it was very good I give it a 10/10 but did not taste like Buffalo I would order it again The waitress are always so nice there
Been coming here for the past few years and always a great time. Today was not at all.. The hostess was very kind and always came back and checked on us & our three children. But it took over 20 minutes just to have our order taken by the waitress. We spent almost an hour and a half all together there. We watched people after us get their food well before us… we only ordered breakfast, and there was an item missing as well. The hostess yet again checked on us and i said about the missing item and she said she thought the waitress asked us? Not the best experience what so ever.

7/2024 . I was the only person in here because I came late in the evening around closing time. My server was super nice and didn't make me feel like I was ordering something too late if you know what I mean. I got a chicken cheesesteak and it was delicious. It was different than the normal chicken cheesesteaks that I've had as it was not't shredded. It was more in pieces or slices and I liked it.
Overall the restaurant on the one side looks like an old-time diner and when you walk through the doorway into the other dining area, that looks like an old family restaurant. While I was waiting I used the bathroom and it was extremely clean as was the rest of the place. In general I love going to palmerton because it's just seems like Old Town USA.
I will definitely stop back in here next time I'm in Palmerton around dinner time.
Parking: Parking for me was not a problem as it was late in the evening and there was no one on the street

We picked up a friend hiking the Appalachian Trail to feed her a good meal and help her resupply before kicking her out of our air-conditioned car and sending her back out into heat to continue the journey to Maine. The carrot cake was unreal! All of the baked goods are homemade on the premise. The customer service was stellar, and the food was good. This little gem is completely out of our way, but we will absolutely be back!!
