Started with ramen, which was nothing I had ever had; it was outstanding. The service was the best I ever experienced on the Main Line.

Another delicious dinner at the Refectory! The manager Darcy took the time to provide me with a personalized menu that noted which food items did not contain the foods to which I am allergic. The service was prompt and had us out well before game time. I also enjoyed a drink at the bar in advance. The bartenders were friendly and my modified mocktail was delicious.

Always fun at the refectory on game day. Would appreciate a few more simple menu items, more “bar” foods for the kitchen to turn out quickly.

Two people dined for a birthday dinner celebration. Our waitress was very attentive and did a great job. We ordered the fresh oysters and deviled eggs for appetizers. Our entrees were the filet and the baked cod. All of the food was delicious. We'll definitely return to this restaurant.

Great find. The food was fantastic. I had the chicken parm and my wife had the beet raviolis. We also had the cesar salad and tuna tartar. All was great. We got lost a bit with the service with a few folks juggling us but they made up for any delays with a complementary app. Well done and we will be back soon.

We went with a moderately sized party (6). The food ranged from good to very good, we especially enjoyed a great mushroom flatbread and my party enjoyed their brunch offerings. My big gripe was the indifferent service we received - never came by to offer to refill coffee, check on us after food arrived, etc. It's a nice restaurant, hate to see the server mail it in.

Frequent here most Sundays for brunch after mass. Food is consistently excellent and service is attentive, professional and friendly.

The Refectory is lovely and convenient to parking. We were seated promptly. The friendly server came over and took our order, but the food runner mixed up the orders when she delivered them to the table. She was not able to differentiate turkey from chicken, so set out the incorrect food. Dressings/mayo ordered on the side came on the food, not on the side. The "special" prosciutto and fig sandwich was open faced with just one small slice of sourdough bread. It was definitely not enough for lunch and was overpriced for more than $16. This was our first visit so I would try The Refectory again, but I was not impressed.

We ate at 4:45 and there was already an energetic crowd at the bar and tables were about half full. We had requested a quiet spot and the hostess did her best to accommodate, I realized I had forgotten my readers and asked our server Domino if he could check for a loaner pair. He not only checked the hostess but then the manager and presented a pair so I could read the menu. Then we asked if they offered a cheese plate because at some restaurants that is on the dessert menu. Again Domino came through. Not normally, but they offered a selection of cheddar, goat and brie, wow! I had the yummy butternut squash soup and the cheese flatbread and my companion enjoyed the scallops for entree and a Waldorf salad/ We also had the breadbasket and had some to bring home. The apple butter and maple butter that accompanied this were delicious. Domino was very attentive throughout and when we return we will surely request him! The parking is in a multi story lot across the street with ample signage to the Refectory. It was just $2.00 and we did not check to see if Refectory will reduce this. Enjoy this spot!!

Refectory is consistently good quality food, superior service, reasonably priced, diligently served, and has a pleasant ambience.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, a bit loud, but we will be back since our son is a freshman at Villanova. Very warm and inviting, food was good as well.

I dined with a friend and we highly enjoyed ourselves! We would like to thank Dorian for his very kind service. He was very professional, polite and also lots of fun!! The happy hour menu had great options, and on Wednesdays the menu is available till the end of the day. We had the raw oysters and the salad, which was so delicious. On the regular menu we had the mushroom flatbread and the calamari. The flat bread was delicious and we we would order this again. Our one complaint was the calamari. It was very chewy, probably overcooked, which was a shame because the flavor was good. We look forward to returning again in the near future!

Your hostesses are quite unfriendly for a college campus environment. The dining room is chilly and continues to be under staffed for Sunday brunch. Our meal was inedible for its stale bread. Because we had time constraints a remade meal wasn't an option. They're missing strong leadership in the hospitality industry here.

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant was quite crowded due to Homecoming weekend, but overall a very good experience. All meals were quite good.
