Appetizers and cocktails were good. Veal Marsala entree was very underwhelming. Sauce tasted like jarred. Side of garlic pasta, found a whole clove of garlic that was not sliced the whole way, hence, got a mouthful of raw garlic. Staff was nice. Overall, we will not return.

We ate here about 25 years ago, and it was decent from what we can remember. Decided to give it another try, and we were disappointed, to say the least. First off, understand that this is NOT a fine dining establishment. Interior is dated. The service staff has the usual coal region attitude. Indifferent hostess. Very inconsistent with details. Salads drowning in dressing. Food was edible at best. I'm pretty sure the interior looked the same as it did 25 years ago. They still seemed busy, so evidently, people from that area don't expect too much for their hard earned dollars.

A really nice experience. Food quality is tough to beat. Prices are rather high though. This is not a budget restaurant. You will also need a reservation as they don't really do walk ins. Authentic Italian cuisine that is second to none.

Pricey, excellent food, great staff. Chef can work with food allergies. Very noisy, hard to talk.

This has been our favorite local restaurant for over 10 years. It is a little on the pricey side but has always been worth it. We were totally disappointed in our service and food presentation last night. We started with waiting way too long to order our drinks and then waited to receive our drinks and then never a follow up for a second, then we waited to order, received our meals one dish at a time, had no follow up once meal delivered - waited for check so long we finally took it to the bar to pay. No one cleared the table as would normally have nothing but water glass on table at end of meal. Found out the change is probably due to the owner being semi-retired - as she was phenomenal, she was on top of everything - unfortunately we will not return. Going to miss this restaurant - always felt special and didn't mind paying a high price for a great dinner experience.

We used to come here all the time but the service started to be more gruff and passive aggressive so we stopped coming. We came tonight for a birthday dinner and I couldn't tell you a time I had worse service at a "fine dining" restaurant. We had to find a waitress and request drink refills for every single person at the table. The gruffness is more than you would expect even at a diner. I ordered food to go in addition for others that couldn't attend and I was charged automatic gratuity on that as well. When I spoke to the hostess who is also the owner not only was she rude , she was unapologetic. I wish them well. We won't ever be back

The service was lack luster since the attitude was evident when they served members of our party of 11. This is the second year we attempted to celebrate someone’s birthday at ridiculous prices that would be better spent at other establishments other than here. The waitress got around to asking us if we were ready to order dessert after we all received boxes for food that was okay but not stellar. The check was requested also before the waitress came. It seems that things are not fine dining but finely disappointing. My recommendation would be save your money as the experience doesn’t equal the quality of the food nor the price.
Loved how the waitresses always filled my glass of water right away. This is the type of stuff that makes me tip more and come back!
Also the food was excellent ?

Clearly the best in this area. Nothing else around here touches it. I dine quite a bit with my job. The biggest areas for quisine around is Philly, Harrisburg and Scranton. I would put Ghezzis up against any of the big timers in those areas.

This was my first time eating here and I brought my 6 year old daughter with me. Our waitress was so amazing with her. She actually took her back in the back to make her own ice cream sundae and she also knows my daughter’s first grade teacher. Just absolutely amazing service. I will be coming back here for sure!!

Food is fresh and well cooked. Good menu. We keep trying to go back hoping for an improved service experience, but I think we may be giving up. Service feels very rushed, glasses are unchecked, and we need to ask for our server repeatedly. Until it's time to pay.

I recently made reservations with high hopes for a memorable evening. However, from the moment we arrived, the experience fell short of expectations.
Upon arrival, the host's demeanor was noticeably lackluster, failing to provide the warm welcome one hopes for when dining out. Furthermore, there was a missed opportunity to enhance the experience by not utilizing the dedicated wine room to educate guests on the available wines.
Our table placement near the kitchen and bathroom was less than ideal, compounded by the presence of a persistent fly. This less-than-ideal setting certainly didn't set the stage for a romantic date night.
While the food itself was decent, it failed to leave a lasting impression. The service, however, was where the experience truly suffered. Our server seemed overwhelmed by the number of tables, resulting in sporadic attention and long waits for water refills.
Overall, the combination of lackluster service, less-than-ideal ambiance, and decent but forgettable food made the experience far from worth the 30-minute drive and the price paid. Disappointingly, Ghezzi’s failed to deliver the level of service and hospitality expected for a memorable dining experience.
