....40 minutes later ... Still no breakfast. Sadly the server harshly refutes "it hasn't been 40 minutes" instead of being concerned. Meanwhile the table next to us said it took over 40 minutes for them as well.
We left. No food. Still hungry.
Definitely a let down, we love to support local and sadly don't think we will be back.

Delicious potatoes! The sausage gravy was also amazing. Solid place to sit and think while the regulars who know each other well laugh and make the atmosphere exactly what you want from a diner. It is cash only and the ATM was broken when I went this morning, just a heads up.

Just discovered this little gem. Went for breakfast and the food was awesome. All homemade and REAL potatoes. You have to be an early bird because their hours are 6 am to 1 pm. The service was great and the people are super friendly and accommodating. It’s just like taking a step back in time to the old time Diners and who doesn’t like Diner food? I’ll definitely be going more often.

Parking: a nice gentleman took my car keys and i had to uber home, but its okat, i know the grace of god will return my car

I came here on Saturday, August 10 At 7 AM in the morning. I got the same breakfast that I always get pancakes with sausage, hashbrowns, and eggs . The lady working rang me up and it came up to $22. I asked her to see the menu and she said WHY! so she goes Is this $20 bill the only thing you have and she takes it and puts it in the register and tells me it’s OK. A big ben is $13. Why did I get charged 22? I hope the owner sees this. I don’t know if this was a honest mistake, but I got completely overcharged.. she was older with short red hair. I kind of felt like she was doing it on purpose and because of this, I won’t return

It is a nice quiet place to have breakfast. It is a bit dated inside but clean. There is plenty of seating at the counter and tables. Staff was friendly and efficient. The food came quickly and was very good. They are cash only, but there is an ATM on site.

Last week, I went here because I grew up in Penn Hills and had a hair appointment in the morning. I (mistakenly) went to the Donut Shack to grab coffee and a donut, and was met with disappointment at the lack of donuts. I realize this is a diner and the woman who informed me was very nice, but I learned something last week. ?

Called and placed an order around 11, was told the food wouldn’t be ready until 12:30-12:45 I was fine with that. My fiance gets there my food hasn’t even been started because they mixed the order up. Gave maybe $5 off of a discount bill was about $41.00 orig. he waited another 20-30 mins to get my food everything was fine until he gets home and notice I’m missing an order of pancakes. Tried to go back to get them they wouldn’t even give me them or a refund because they were closing/closed. And the woman was rude as hell about it when they made the mistake. Overall food is okay but not even enjoyable after all that. We were understanding about the delay just to get attitude from the woman.
