Just tried Deli Fresh Delicatessen for the first time and wow; what a great experience! My partner and I decided to split a classic Italian hoagie, and honestly, it blew a lot of other hoagie shops out of the water. The bread was fresh, the meats were perfectly balanced, and everything just tasted right. You can tell they care about quality.
What really stood out, besides the delicious food, was the vibe. The people working there were super friendly and welcoming. It had that old-school, neighborhood deli charm that makes you want to come back—not just for the food but for the experience.
Also, they serve classic sodas like birch beer, orange cream, and old-fashioned cola. That nostalgic touch was such a fun bonus—it felt like stepping back in time in the best way.

I placed an order through door dash at deli Fresh. The order came missing something. I called the deli and the woman I spoke to was extremely helpful in getting me the corrected order. The Old Italian hoagie with long hots was amazing!! Great customer service and we will definitely be back!

The large (12”) Classic Italian from Deli Fresh in Penndel PA (outside NE Philly) is PHENOMENAL. Based on recommendations from a few FB hoagie groups, we went there a few days ago for the first time. They’ve been open for about a year. Nice, clean place, friendly people. Perfect ratios on a seeded roll. Catapulted to the top in my opinion. I can’t wait to try their roast beef.
