Ordered an upside down pizza and wings the wings were very good but we ordered the pizza to be a little more well done since the past few times it was a little underdone. The cheese on the pizza was barely done melting and there was almost no sauce on the pizza as well. Very disappointed in the making and cooking of the pizza after it had been so good the past few years.
Haven't been here for a few years. You know, Covid, lockdowns, distancing, blah blah. And that's a shame because this place is AWESOME! Went this morning with my kids for Fathers Day brunch. Fair pricing, great buffet style food, service was top notch (thanks, Skylar!). They had an omlette station, roast beef, baked fish, shrimp cocktail, the usual breakfast fare (bacon, eggs, bagels, potatoes, sausage...), a BUNCH of other items.... All, super yum! Kids were happy too....
My wife took me to Hawkeye’s CountryTavern for a belated Father’s Day dinner because I have been wanting to try it for some time. Great food , great service and I love the atmosphere. I wanted to try the ribs , but they were out of them , so I had the meatloaf dinner . I am a meatloaf fanatic and try it wherever I go .
