We have been here several times in the past two years. The menu is always fresh and creative. Our smoked bison ravioli with slow roasted sunchokes was brilliant!Vegetarian options: If you tell them ahead of time any dietary restrictions, they will attend to that.

I've been here twice, and every meal has been incredible. The quality is always tremendous, but the creativity is off the charts. It's a must if you haven't been.

Have to admit, the not knowing what the menu was ahead of time caused some apprehension. But each dish was amazing. We got the 5 course tasting. The dishes were elegantly plated with and such care. We had a lobster dish first. Then cod dish. I can't remember the accompaniments but they fit and were delicious. The meat dish was a veal osso bucco served with the marrow filled bone. The only thing I didn't care for was the palate cleanser which was a raspberry sorbet and pear with red wine poured over it. I do not like wine at all, so I could have done with just the sorbet which was very good but couldn't taste it because the taste was covered up with wine. The dessert was a beet cake with chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream. Don't care for beets, so I really could have passed on that. But that's not a diss. I just hate beets. A piece of chocolate cake would have been better. Overall we were very impressed and will definitely go back next season to see what is next! Highly recommend!

Fantastic food. Fantastic service. They will accomodate you if necessary. I do not like seafood (except for scallops), so they gave me a choice of scallops or another meat course. I choose scallops and they were amazing! We left stuffed. due to price we only go once a year (on a very tight budget), but worth it every time.

Outstanding experience. Relaxed setting with a great tasting menu style. First time there, will definitely be back. Don't forget to BYOB for 2.5 hours. We went Cab, Pinot noir, Sav Blanc, and Riesling to cover all our bases.

An amazing experience and fantastic food. They catered to my wife's dietary restrictions. They offered house made sodas which were so original and tasty. Key lime soda was the best. Couldn't recommend this restaurant higher! I will definitely be going back.

It was our first time there and our server MJ was awesome, every dish was delicious and we already are planning our next date night out to come back and try out another amazing menu from the chef.

This was our first time at Maize. We had a table close to the front door. It was a cold night every time the door opened we felt a blast of cold air. It would be nice if the owners placed a canopy as many restaurants in Jersey City do in the winter to diminish the amount of cold air that comes into the restaurant when the door to the restaurant opens.

We had the Valentines menu. Most courses were very well executed and flavorful. We would suggest that some of the dishes were more complex than needed and could benefit from editing and they would still be outstanding.

Food was delicious and beautiful. The wine pairing for Valentine's Day was very fun and fit well. The price was a little more than we would have expected for the food, but maybe it was due to the holiday and complimentary wine pairing. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

This restaurant is absolutely incredible. The vibe is exactly what I was looking for and the food was divine. My husband and I went here on our first date night after our son was born, and I couldn't have picked a better place! When we got there, we were immediately introduced to our waitress where she gave us a background on the restaurant, which was pretty cool if you ask me. A father owns the restaurant and his son was another server of ours. Each plate that was brought to our table was absolutely amazing. The real cool part of it was that I was able to experience things that I've never had before like goat and stone fish. The fish was caught that morning! Everything that the chef made was amazing and the servers gave us a breakdown of everything that we were eating course by course, overall it's not that expensive for what you were getting and the vibe is very chill. I absolutely love the concept that every table sits down at the same time and everyone is served at the same time and everyone leaves at the same time. It's perfect. I can't wait to go back. The last thing I'll say is a left a hand written letter in our check, hoping that we had a good first date night, which I thought was very sweet. Thank you all for an amazing night, the least I could do is write this review.

Exceptional food and ambience. Very attentive, friendly, and knowledgable waiters and waitresses. It was my birthday when we had dinner here. They wrote out a personal card to me and all of the staff signed it. Such a nice personal touch! The chef is amazing. Highly recommend!
