If I had to sum up Winslow Winery in one word, it would be family!
My wife and I first tried their wines during the Pour Tour event last fall, and we were absolutely blown away by the quality. That experience led us to make a small road trip about an hour from home this past Saturday to visit the winery and try all of their dry reds. Let’s just say… we were not disappointed.
From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were treated like old friends. Each wine reinforced that we had chosen the perfect destination for our day trip. If you haven’t been here yet, you absolutely need to put Winslow Winery on your bucket list, it may very well be the place to go for high-quality wine.
We had the pleasure of meeting Lindsay and her husband Greg, whose hospitality was second to none. Even though my wife and I don’t typically have a palate for white wines, they encouraged us to try the Chardonel, and wow! We were blown away by how smooth it was and the beautiful finish. Needless to say, we left with a bottle (or two).
Dry reds are truly our thing, and with most of them and their other wines aged in French oak barrels, we couldn’t resist. We ended up purchasing at least one bottle of each of the 10 dry reds offered. While the Cabernet Franc was our personal favorite, the more we tasted, the more our palates insisted that every single one needed to come home with us.
We were also honored to spend time with Lindsay and Greg looking out at the vineyard and getting a glimpse of their operation. It was truly a day my wife and I will never forget and will always be grateful for.
To bring it back to where I started, FAMILY, Not only do Lindsay and Greg work alongside generations of their family to make this winery a success, but they also embrace their customers as family.
Great job, Lindsay and Greg. Please know you will always have customers in Cindy and me. Thank you again, and we wish you nothing but continued success. Great job!
WE CANT WAIT TO COME BACK
Visited this place for the pour tour. Definitely want to come back again. Great view and amazing wines. Even learned more about wine glasses from them.
so pleasant and helpful!! Had a wonderful time. Beautiful.
This place is pretty cute. There’s plenty of space inside with several tables. There are tables outside as well.
I’m not a huge fan of their wine. It’s not bad, but doesn’t really hit the mark for me. However it’s a nice place. And somewhere you can take your mom. Or having a little get together that’s gonna be spacious and quiet.
I love that there’s games to play and they have local artists selling items at their store.
Just the perfect spot to relax and try a flight of local wine
Great wine, great atmosphere, great owners. This family is dedicated to the whole process of wine making. Loved the barrel aged Cab Franc. Definitely worth visiting and revisiting!
This is a nice, peaceful winery to stop at. The scenery out back is great. Great service and great Diamond wine. Definitely recommend to come here!
Flights are very affordable and all the wines taste great. Awesome place. Highly recommend it.
First time going here for me and my husband. Very friendly atmosphere. And very knowledgeable about their wine. Will definitely visit again.
Winslow Winery is a lovely family-owned winery. All the wines we tasted were great. My husband loved the sparkling Gewürztraminer while I loved the Viognier. The owners are very friendly and gave us a tour of their production floor even. The bottles were reasonably priced. We are looking forward to drinking the two we brought home!

Very quaint, small and amazing winery! Did a tasting and fell in love with "Chardonel" which is an estate grown grape! It is a result of mixing Chardonnany and Seval Blanc! Bought 3 bottles to take home to WV! Can't wait to visit again!
Great wine, awesome place to spend a restful afternoon....super friendly staff...
It was very nice. Outside seating. Wish I would have taken a picture. Nice selection of wines from dry to sweet.
They charge for tasting even if you buy a bottle or two. Wine was decent. Staff was very nice.
The winery offers nine tables (five inside and four outside) in a quiet and quaint space. The staff are excellent, friendly, and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend checking out their wines! They offer a great selection and are much better in quality and taste comparable to other local wineries!
