My husband and I wake up at 330am and drive an hour and a half just to meet my uncle for breakfast here haha SO WORTH IT! The portions are big and the food is amazing!

Great service from the waitress. But food not so much.
Pancake was to big. When pancakes are to big they're dry and one side was even burnt. Asked for small orange juice and it came in the size of a shot glass. Had hot tea asked for honey waited over 5 minutes for honey. So I just used cream and sugar was nearly done meal then the waitress brings the honey.

This is my second time at this place. I loved it the first time. Good breakfast, good service. But this time I ordered takeout and wasn’t pleased at all. I ordered a pretty standard breakfast and a chicken and fry platter. Fries were soggy, the bacon on the breakfast meal was rock solid and extremely hard to chew. My biggest issue was the apple pie I had ordered. It was raw, inedible. All of the signs in Pine Grove advertised their pie so I figured I’d order some if it was that good and unfortunately I can’t even eat it.

I believe that it would be much more better if there were more kids boys children there because I was just there and I did not see any to no boys kids anywhere in that place or even around it also I think the bathrooms need a little touch up to for in the men's restroom the standing toilet on the wall doesn't even flush and the toilet is ugly filthy inside and no on wall bathroom tissue dispenser in which I'm used to seeing it in all the bathrooms out there …

The last two times I visited this place were not good. I ordered broasted chicken thighs and received what I believed were chicken backs. Much different then previous visits. I asked about it and the waitress asked the cook. She said he just gave her attitude. That said I don’t know if I want to go back. They weee noted for having the best chicken around. We would go there at least twice a month sometimes every week. I just hope they get these problems sorted out.

Great food and atmosphere! We had the pancakes and sausage and cheese omelette for breakfast and both were delicious! The staff was also very friendly.
Randomly found Buddy’s, so we stopped for lunch. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic. The service and the food were both excellent. We will definitely eat here again.
