Food was delicious. Service was great even though there was only one waitress for 6-8 tables at the time I was there. Prices were decent. Do provide military discount. Definitely have the hottest greeter that gives the greatest hugs.

Red Lion has been a staple for many in Pine Grove for as long as I can remember. Great place for a sit-down family meal, take-out or a place for your team to host a dinner. They went above and beyond for our girls basketball fundraiser. Food and service are top notch!

We went for breakfast on Father's Day. Small group, easy order. There was only one waitress on at the time and she told us right away that they were understaffed and her help wasn't coming until later. We sat for a long time until we got drinks. A second waitress came on and took an order from another table which caused yet another couple who had not had their order taken, to get up and leave. They stated that they had waited too long and the new waitress said she didn't know. Definite lack of communication. A table that came in 3 groups after us got their food first even though our order went in first our at least it should have. We sat for 45 minutes before we got our food. Some of which was only lukewarm. I felt bad for the number of families with small children who were trying to entertain them while waiting for the incredibly slow service. Holidays always be well staffed. When we left there was a line waiting to get in, but that was due to the slow turnover. Tables were empty, but there was no one seating people or running the cash register. The waitresses had to do it all and they were not efficient. I rarely leave reviews and I want to support local businesses, but this one could have been avoided if there were enough staff on to do a good job. What's the worst that could happen with too many staff? Patrons get quick, great service. That would be OK.
