We ordered and our food never came. When it did arrive it seemed it had sat for a long time before being delivered. They were not very busy in the area we were seated and it's always disappointing when you wait forever with kids. Pineville had been doing well with service the last few times we were there for lobster night but we hit an off night again, I guess..

My wife and I definitely enjoyed the afternoon lunch, we always do here but since we haven't been here for awhile, both of us couldn't believe how the Pineville turned their outside area to an enclosed garden atrium that's what I would call it. The atmosphere, service, and most of all the food was spectacular. we definitely will not wait to come back again.

Overall a nice night out with friends. Enjoyed the Perseco for pennies. Food was overcooked and very slow to arrive.

Very nice place. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. However, they should advertise that they have valet parking. Not a deal breaker but the customer should be made aware.

Pineville changed the menu again and removed numerous items that we always ordered. Quality of food was not good. Can't imagine what changed to cause the food to decline so much. Been going there since 1981. They should go back to a real tavern menu and do only what they do well.

Went for Lobsterfest on Sunday. 1.5 pound lobster and two sides for $39.95, can't get fairer than that. Fran was our server this week and she did an excellent job and was very friendly too. Lobster was prepared correctly and just for the correct amount of time.

We were sitting next to people who brought 3 dogs with them!!!! We explained to the manager that we were unhappy. He said it was an outdoor area which is untrue because it's completely enclosed.

Great birthday dinner. Only complaint is they were out of 1.5 lb lobsters at 7 pm. Lobster tails were good though. Stuffed flounder was a bit overcooked and dry. Mussels appetizer was huge and delicious. French onion soup was excellent. Desserts were all terrific, got the flourless chocolate cake, creme brulee and rice pudding. Great table in the garden room which is beautiful and serene.

My husband and I went with another couple. The food was mediocre as well as the service. We had not finished our appetizers and our meals were brought out. The restaurant was almost empty. My husband put his salad plate on the empty table next to us as there was no place to put it on our table. The young man who brought out the food told him not to put it there and to hold it. He would be back in a minute to pick it up. It was very rude as the table was empty as well as the room we were in - The waitress was MIA most of the evening. She did not ask us if we wanted additional cocktails or dessert. We will not be going back -

We arrived for a 7:00 pm reservation and waited at the reception area for 20 minutes before being told that the table we booked outside couldn't be honored. We were ushered inside, where we sat (and sat). No one greeted us or took our drink orders; no busboy offered us water, etc. We were ignored, even though the room wasn't packed and there appeared to be plenty of servers on duty. After 40 minutes, we decided to leave. We discussed what happened to the hostess before we left; she couldn't have cared less. Will not be returning.

We were really looking forward to trying this place out. Unfortunately we were not impressed. Food was just OK and they were out of a lot of food items we wanted. We had no drinks besides soda and water and food was very expensive for what we got. Probably won't be going back again.

This as our first time back to the Prineville Tavern after many years. We ate indoors, but they offer outdoor seating, which we will reserve next time. We had a reservation, and we were seated shortly after our arrival time. There are a couple of rooms to be seated in. After arriving, we asked if we could be seated in the smaller room off of the bar area. seemed a lot quieter. Husband got prime rib, I got a single crab cake. Both entrees were really good. My crab cake was large and full of lump crabmeat, I took 1/2 home. They offer a double crab cake also. French fries were hot and crispy. Service was a bit slow. We will go back again. There is only valet parking, not a problem but just letting you know.

No one was there. Hostess was polite but refused to seat us for 10 minutes. Only 1 server for both rooms. Food good as usual

Great place. Nice bar. Ordered lobster roll - too heavy on mayo but nice lobster chunks. Wedge salad was ok. Mussels great. Ate there before and fabulous fried chicken. Will be going back!

We waited very long for our food and watched numerous people seated after us get their meals first. The menu description didn't really match the meal we got. Waitress was very nice and apologized for the wait and offered us bread as we waited. The environment was aesthetic but I wouldn't highly recommend.
