Chose Pineville Tavern for all aspects of dining as well as friendly atmosphere and attentive service for my birthday celebration! I had a VERY happy birthday with a great Chicken Francese, French onion soup (and delish carrot cake dessert to which they added a birthday candle. I wish for you to enjoy the same!
We had a great dining experience. We ordered the buffalo chicken egg roll appetizer, which was a large portion! We also had the bacon wrapped shrimps which had a delicious sauce under that had a touch of spice/heat. Draft beers were cold and just what we wanted. Our group ordered the Chicken Franchise, open faced meatloaf, sweet chili shrimp salad and meatball parm special. Everyone enjoyed the meals. Great food, great service and wonderful tavern!!
We were disappointed on this visit to find the staff distracted and brusque, the noise level maxed out, and our ribs unfortunately overdone. The explanation for all of this was that there was a large party ‘upstairs', but that should have been planned and staffed for. It was our first visit, but our friends had been many times in the past and said that this visit was the exception to the rule, as their previous visits had all been exceptional.
