The owner, from my recollection, is locally involved in several altruistic ventures that directly affect the community. It's for that alone that I offer 5 stars. I can't tell you about their food, atmosphere or service. But I dig his contributions to his community.
Dick's is a family owned bar that's a great place to socialize, shoot some pool and watch sports! Their juke box has a nice sounds to it. They have their own kitchen with reasonable prices for their food and drinks. The bartenders are friendly and rarely keep a customer waiting. My husband plays on the pool tournament here. I just stayed coming with him last week, and came back this week because everyone is so friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I'd recommend it to everyone!
