TEKILAS MEXICAN GRILL & BUKANAS BAR

My friend and I went there for a Halloween event/contest, got dressed up in our costumes and arrived then sat at the bar. We were completely ignored by the staff behind the bar and standing outside it, so much so, it was almost commical. We sat there for about 10-15 minutes before we decided to go sit outside on the patio (it was really cold but there was also a DJ out there) Still, not one staff member asked us if we wanted anything at all. The DJ of all people came up to us and asked why we didn't have a drink. We told him we were ignored and he went in and got us a drink. After sitting a while on the patio, we went inside to warm up. A staff member finally came up to us for the first time all night, not to ask if we needed anything but said if we wanted to sit at a table inside, we would have to buy a $150 beer bucket and pay a table fee. That info was not anywhere on any of their flyers for that event. It's a shame because its a pretty nice venue but my friend and I will never go back. Be warned.

This place is a scam just so everyone knows before you waste your time ! My friend & I went last weekend for the $2000 costume contest - waited about 15 mins at the bar and not 1 person even acknowledged us. Ok no big deal. We went outside & the Dj was the one who helped us get our first drink (which thanks bob! Idk if you were part of the scam who knows) the most important complaint I have is - we went inside to sit to get warm & were told we couldn’t sit there with our mixed drinks - that we had to buy a bucket of beer for $150 to sit at that table…. Maybe yall should Advertise better bc we wouldn’t have went in the 1st place had it be known that was what they were doing. My friend spent DAYS making her costume and wasn’t even able to enter the contest which I’m sure probably Would’ve been rigged anyways but the fact is - so unprofessional ! That was our second and last time ever going to event at this place !

Not a good experience. We waited forever just to get drinks, and when I finally got my Sprite it took 30 minutes. Drinks were watered down. I ordered al pastor tacos and they didn’t even come with pineapple. My fiancé said the food was just okay, and my son didn’t like the chicken fingers. Definitely disappointing.

The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. We have been here many times and the service is typically slow. We waited 20 minutes for our check after asking for it. This would be a great place if the service was better.

In this place if you go with your significant other like I did, you have to be ready for your girlfriend to get hit on. I went there and was surprised by the way the male waitress was trying to get with my girl right in front of me.

Special Nite- my BF BIRTHDAY 🎂! So I MADE him go to: *TEEK-I-LAS* (lol) for beautiful 😍 eve on the lovely decorated & enclosed front Patio!
He had his FAV- a BIG Steak & Shrimp BURRITO 🌯 😋 & Margareta w/blue Salt🍸!
I had: VEGGIE TACO BOWL 🥣 😋 & *frozen Margarita🍹! We had humurous Waiter 👦 who surprised him with: Margarita SHOT as *HB Treat 👍! It's nestled- just off the main Hiways & down a *wooded (& birds) street setting & we're GOING back ASAP! ❤

I got carnitas and my husband got fajitas (both come with rice and beans on the side). Our server, Alfonso, recommended Modelo for drinks. He was very friendly and funny- felt like family and made our experience even better. Very welcoming and the food was ready fast while still being cooked well and very flavorful. They are a gem in this area and we will absolutely be coming back!

Late lunch on a Wednesday, there was one server for a few tables and he was fantastic. The food was delicious and it looks like the place is a good place to come to hear some music, too

It was our first time here; my husband LOVES MEXICAN food. I had the red sangria which was great; ,we ate Stuffed jalapenios , trio taco salad and a burrito. Chips and salsa came complimentary. The service, food and friendliness were outstanding.... we will be back!!!!!

Food was delicious. Service was slow however. The worst part of the experience were those terrible metal chairs restaurants keep buying for some reason. Do owners really not try out furniture they invest in before purchase? Do better.

Have a nice place and the DJ was 🔥 it was a nice atmosphere.... very pricey for the drinks could lower the prices ????
