My parents like to go here as they are elderly. But the menu is really lacking in choices and the service just was super slow. We were done with our meal I sat for 20 minutes while our waiter did nothing behind the counter.
I had to get up, go to the cashier desk and then wait another ten minutes. As I said, my parents like to go here or I wouldn't

I previously contacted Denny's corporate office regarding the disgusting hygiene violation I witnessed at your restaurant, where my waitress (star) failed to wash her hands before handling my food. I made it clear how unacceptable and unsafe this was, and I requested a refund.

It has been 10 days since my complaint calling the restaurant and 8 days since my original email, and I have yet to receive the courtesy of a reply to rectify this situation. Your silence only adds to the disappointment I already feel toward your establishment. Ignoring a serious health and safety complaint is just as negligent as the incident itself.

As it stands, my trust in your restaurant has been severely damaged. DONT EAT HERE!!!!!

The food was absolutely delicious, and not just that, the service and atmosphere was great as well. The server was friendly and welcoming, everything was clean, and the food came fresh. It did take a little while to make the food, but that's how you know it's fresh (and it was!). The portions were great as well.

James was awesome. He was very attentive, informative, and friendly as were the other servers it seemed. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and our food came out fast, correct, and delicious.

Food is great. Some servers are really good and others are completely incompetent.

You would think a Denny’s is not a good place to eat but a place of last resort. But this location is really good for the food and the service. Great staff.

Preferred this location in Pittston over the Wilkes-Barre location. Pittston is newer and cleaner. Breakfast portions were large and served hot.

My wife and I went to breakfast. Server was super friendly and tentative. Would definitely return. The outdoor water fountain gives the restaurant a nice touch.

Enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and also ate healthy with the Fit Slam platter! I was so happy they offered a plate for those on a diet plan! Had a wonderful waitress as well!

Server was good, food was good, Hostess - Alli, needs some schooling on etiquette on dealing with disabled individuals. My sister is unable to stand long with her cane and walked over to one of many free clean close tables to sit. Alli became agitated mumbling nasty comments to my sister which was uncalled for because they weren’t busy with only 3 tables occupied, that’s why they get get 4 stars

As a mom of two, I have eaten at many family friendly restaurants all over. So I definitely mean it when I say I was very touched by the friendliness of the staff, the quick service, the quality food, and the above and beyond things the wait staff did to accommodate my rambunctious toddler. This was an unexpectedly lovely meal on a stop through Pennsylvania on a road trip. I am grateful and encourage everyone to stop here if Denny’s are your thing. (And maybe even if they aren’t?)

Never in my life have I ever stiffed someone on a tip until last night. Denny’s like many diners are 24-hour spots. We even made sure to check upon our arrival— after a long day’s work and a road trip ahead we decided to stop into this Denny’s for a quick meal before hitting the road, convenient as it’s right next to i81 and 476.

Our waitress, a heavier woman with snake bite piercings on her bottom lip walked past and ignored our table several times whilst checking on others. My friend waited 30 minutes for her drink to be refilled- she continued to walk past us avoiding eye contact until we caught her attention. We sat down at exactly 11:15 PM and did not get our food until after 12 AM.

As two young women, who have previously worked as servers we initially presumed she must have thought we were two young ladies that don’t have the money to tip or something. Whatever, that’s fine. We continued to have some of the poorest service I’ve ever had.

All of this would be fine- I’m not expecting fine dining here. Just a grand slam and I can get on my way. The waitress sent a teenager over to take our orders, to which she then yelled from three tables away at my friend for ordering her eggs “dippy”, which is a name regional to Pennsylvania for eggs sunny side up. She said the cook wouldn’t be able to understand. My friends eggs came out scrambled anyways, so it didn’t matter much did it? What a humiliating gesture regardless.

We waited so incredibly long for our food, while there were only two other tables. Clearly had been sitting for a while by the time it came. If the restaurant had been bumping I could truly understand! But all of this together, I could not possibly justify paying for more than just my food.

This woman was yelling across the restaurant the whole time we dined about how to not answer phones, not serve coffee, etc. Absolutely horrific personality to be working as wait staff. The final straw for me was yelling at my nothing but kind and polite friend over some eggs.

My friend had a three hour drive ahead of her and we should not have waited that long to be humiliated and given lukewarm meals. Normally I’d tip a minimum 15% even for poor service. Working hospitality is hard, hard work and I understand that from firsthand experience. I was ready to tip 50% of what we just paid, I usually tip big on smaller bills. My immediate family has tipped huge here every time they’ve eaten too, we know you are working hard. But this lady was hardly working.
