“What a wonderful experience. I was looking for a local diner to grab a quick lunch while on a work trip. I couldn’t have made a better choice. The service is impeccable. Food came out swiftly and perfect. The staff were friendly and very informative. All of the desserts are handmade in house. If you get a chance to try the lemon lush, you’ll wish you had a bigger stomach. I had the Porketta Brioche. I’ve never had Porketta but Margaret informed me of what it was and assured me I was getting a great meal. She wasn’t wrong. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town. If you’re on the fence about visiting, you should come. You will not regret it.“

“Dear people of Denny’s Nation. I had the pleasure of attending this fine establishment a few weeks back with a good chap of mine in our humble town of Pittston. When I tell you this place knocked me off my feet I mean it. We had a sexy waiter man, who was in all honesty a bit dumb, (he forgot the MAIN event of my grand slam) but I can forgive that. This man was the best waiter I’ve had the pleasure of setting my two eyes on. The food was divine. I devoured my perfectly cooked pancakes in about 10 minutes, savoring every buttery, syrupy bite. It was like heaven to my mouth. Don’t even get me started on the eggs. I throughly enjoyed those too. Everyone on the menu looked fit for a God’s meal. I thank you Denny’s staff in Pittston.“

“I've lived around the corner from Neen's for the past 5 years as I've been going to school. It's a great place to get really good and cheap food. Everyone is super friendly and I never seem to have a long wait. Some diners in the area have gone down in quality over the years, but Neen's has stayed consistent. Would highly recommend. Of note, they are cash only (but have an ATM).“

“I actually went to purchase a car wash neighboring this restaurant ,there not linked to them in any shape or form, I didn't know that upon entering, however, They assured me and helped me feel better about being charged and not receiving a service the owners Rich and Lisa and warm people, there food looks amazing!!“

I am passing through town and saw the Viewpoint Diner on my way to the hotel. After looking it up and calling to confirm that breakfast was served all day, I headed over for dinner. As the host walked me to my booth, I saw the specials board and amazing looking meals in front of multiple patrons, and my breakfast for dinner plans went out the window. The menu is more than that of any old diner. It was a broad, colorful menu with professional pictures of most of the meals. I was immediately greeted by my waitress & her trainee but needed more time with the expansive menu. I ended up selecting Stuffed Shrimp (crab) and veggies and salad. I should have taken pictures, but I was too excited. Everything tasted as amazing as it looked, and the portions were hearty. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The whole experience was such a pleasant surprise! I wish I was going to be in town long enough to go back and try the breakfast.

The atmosphere was great. The exterior was well lit with awnings displaying their menu categories, the interior clean and inviting. It seemed like at least a few of the other tables were local regulars, which I consider a great thing.

My only suggestion would be that they round out their profile on Google to include the menu to help others find them. I didn't find what I was looking for there and took a gamble and won this time. 😉

“i'm not sure what the womans name was who took my order over the phone, but when i went to go pick it up, she was also the one to give me my food, she was an older woman with blonde hair & wow did she just put the biggest smile on my face. i went home saying how warm and welcoming it was. they were the sweetest girls! aside from the amazing service, we got delicious food too. FOR ONCE we got home with our food & not only were all the items there, they were hot & all cooked correctly to our order! blessed. 90% of time ordering out sucks anymore, the quality just isnt there...you got food missing, wrong, cold, etc., so anyways, 5 stars to ave! OH & that lovely woman even gave me a free new drink they had on special, the strawberry spritzer which was sooooo YUMMY!“

“After spending a night at Trumps rally we needed a good breakfast. Being out of the area, the hotel recommended D's Diner. Great recommendation, food was great at a fair price and service was super. We all left satisfied. A true family owned restaurant when you see the owners working with staff to keep things flowing during peek time. I would highly recommend D's diner.“
